About this ebook

This book presents the Teachings of Rao, the God of Krypton. By using a few references from other places, I analyzed from a scientific orientation that shows through the model of a Tree of Life of how it relates to modern scientific models as Russell Quantum Mechanics and Psychology. The teachings reveal the secret wisdom about the nature of the universe and of the psyche as well as a path to make the journey, through transformation, from mortal to immortal, from man/woman to superman/superwoman. The goal is to reclaim your state of balance and harmony with the Absolute. This was the notion of the summon bonum or greatest good, that we should aspire to.
A superman or supergirl that I am referring to isn’t the comic book version with superpowers. I am talking about more of the Nietzsche’s concept, the Übermensch. It’s about being psychological superior than we are today, the supermen and women will live by their own values as not seen since we followed those values more "Pagan" in nature.

    INTRODUCTION

What is Rao? Rao is the name of the red sun that is the center of the fictional solar system of the planet Krypton in the DC comics. In real life there are red stars such as the giant red star called Betelgeuse. Every star is a sun in the center of a solar system. What is the sun? The sun is a mass of incandescent gas, a gigantic nuclear furnace. It is a star, hot ball of glowing gases at the heart of our solar system. Its influence extends far beyond the orbits of distant Neptune and Pluto. Without the sun there would be no life. Even though special to us, there are billions of stars like our sun scattered across the Milky Way galaxy. The temperature at our sun's core is about 27 million degrees Fahrenheit.

Our sun is called Sol, Sol is Latin for sun. Sol is also the name of the sun god in ancient Roman religion. In Greek the sun is called Helios and related to the god Helios and Apollo. In Egypt its name was Ra and later the pharaoh Akhenaten called the sun Aten. The god Aten was the avatar of our sun. This was the start of monotheism that gave birth to Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Astrologically and allegorically the Sun is everything. It is the Light of The World, The Bread of Life, The Lion of the Tribe of Judah and the King of Judah. The Sun is the King, the Emperor, and the Giver of Life. The Sun is holy. All religions are actually based on the Sun.

Even in Buddhism the sun is used as a symbol. The color gold is used to symbolize the sun and fire. The gold Lotus Flower symbolizes purity of body, speech and mind that afloat the murky water of desire. The lotus itself is an analogy of rising above suffering to attain enlightenment, beauty and clarity. The gold Dharma Chakra or Dharma wheel image is gold in color with eight spokes. The spokes of the wheel represent Buddha’s Eightfold Path to Enlightenment – a middle way between excessive worldliness and asceticism. It is the universal symbol for Buddhism. Given its association with Sun, gold in Buddhism stands for knowledge, enlightenment, purity, happiness, and freedom.

The sun is also the energy of the solar plexus in physical form within us. The solar plexus is what connects us to the sun, and then the center of the galaxy, to the center of the universe. The sun is our connection to all knowledge: the gut feeling. Intuition, source knowledge, it is magnificent power.

As Sol or Helios, Ra or Aten is the star in the center of our solar system, Rao is the star that is the center of the fictional solar system of planet Krypton. Either way all suns are the center of a solar system which shares the same symbolism. The only differences are the color of each sun, and that color would be used to symbolize the sun on the planet that revolves around it. Because Sol is a yellow sun which is golden in color, the color yellow and gold is used to symbolize the sun as it is in many religious traditions around the world. A vessel used in the Roman Catholic Church called a monstrance is gold and resembles the sun which is used to consecrate the Eucharistic host for Communion.

On fictional or real planets that orbit a red sun, the color red would be used to symbolize the sun in their spirituality.

All suns are stars that are the center of their solar systems, whether it’s Sol, Betelgeuse or Rao. The worlds all revolve around the sun as it flies around the galaxy. The suns give life and light freely, there is no charge.

As individuals we need to emulate the sun. That is to realize that each of us individually is a star. Because of that we don’t need to try to orbit around other stars. Though we tend to do this when we hold others opinions more valid than our own or worship them by putting others on a pedestal. The sun also gives energy freely. This means we should have the mind set to give help where it is needed without ulterior motives. Be Rao, be the sun my friend, for every individual is a star.

Raoism is a henotheistic religion. That means it’s an adherence of a single god while not denying the existence of other deities. Many also consider this symbolic religion. Rao is considered the supreme while many of the other gods are just different expressions of the one. The religion of Raoism includes a pantheon of 14 major deities, 203 demigods, and over 1000 Titans. Even though there were 14 major deities, there are six Guilds on Krypton and each of the Guilds was associated with one of the major gods. The religion's main sacred text is the Book of Rao, which contains a wealth of religious and historical information.

The Religious Guild had delved deep into the religion, and is among the most devout followers of Raoism. They wore glowing masks to remove the appearance of individuality and make them appear as extensions of their gods' will.[1]

In this book, I will go over the eleven virtues of Krypton called the tiv Girod created by Val-Zho aka Darren Doyle who happens to be a linguist who also created the Kryptonian language.

Each virtue is associated with each sphere on the Kryptonian Tree of life that I created. There are eleven chapters for each virtue.

Practicing the teachings of Rao is open to any spiritual or non-spiritual belief system. It is open to all. Perhaps through this, one may see the common core of all paths. Archaeologists on this planet earth are aware that many ancient cultures have used the sun as a symbol of life whom worshiped celestial bodies.

In ancient Egypt the sun was used to symbolize their god Ra. The Egyptians like those who are called Hindus didn’t view the gods as literal gods; the gods were seen as symbols of personages of humanity.

Smai Tawi which means the union of two lands or divine union which is referring to the union of the lower animal self and the higher self. In India the practice was called Sanatan Dharma which means eternal dharma or eternal order or cosmic order. This was before the name Hinduism was applied to it by outsiders. That which is called Hinduism is a symbolic religion which really isn’t a religion and more as a way of life. There is no set doctrine within this path, there are many variations. Some see the gods are symbols of personages within us. Some may see it different aspects of Brahman (God) or actual gods. As actual gods are rare, though some do. To those who walk this path, Brahman is Consciousness that permeates all existence. In Egypt the gods are called Neters and the word nature root word comes from the word neter. The neters are different aspects of us.

One can see the name Ra in ancient is very similar to Rao. Is there a connection? In the Kryptonian language words that end in the letter o is plural form. This would seem that Rao is the plural form of Ra. This will be explained in the first chapter what the name signifies.

Even though Raoism is a created religion on the fictional planet Krypton, the truth is all religions are created by human. Nature is the great teacher; all the myths in religion are allegories. Some are history mixed with myth, which still makes it a myth. The allegories are the finger pointing to the moon. It all points to Nature, it’s about understanding the laws of nature. Science is the study of nature, whether its quantum mechanics, biology or psychology, it’s still nature. The myths are to get us to think and understand the universe and how we fit into it. Taking the myths literally by getting too caught up in it, is like concentrating on the finger while unable to see the moon that it points at, or like trying to eat the picture on the menu of your favorite food while sitting in the restaurant instead of ordering food. Bruce Lee said in the movie ‘Enter the Dragon’, Don’t concentrate on the finger or you will miss all the heavenly glory.   That heavenly glory is nature, which includes the whole universe. The idea is to create harmony of all religions and realize underneath the myths all points to the same thing, which is Nature.

    Chapter 1

    The Triune Nature of Rao

The three letters in the name Rao represents the triune nature of Rao. There are some similarity between Kryptonian and Hebrew. The superman myth was created by two Jews named Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The Hebrew name El which means God means Star in Kryptonese. The editor Julius Schwartz, began to use Rao in superman’s speech in the 1970’s.

In Hebrew the letter R is resh which is a sign for head. In Arabic the letter is named rāʾ/rāy/rays. The letter Resh can be used as an abbreviation for Rabbi. The Hebrews were influenced by the Egyptians when the Cannanites followed Akhenaten when he was exiled from Egypt.

The letter Resh literally means head in Hebrew, but your head or brain is illuminated by the fire of life. We have the capacity of perception, because in our brain is energy, electricity, what some call Christ, Buddha, Atman or many other names. We are just not conscious of it, until we become awake.

The fire of Rao that has full Consciousness of itself, and when that fire in your body and your nervous system, in your head has become fully cognizant, it becomes a living soul. It means one is full of life; one becomes a Buddha, an enlightened, awakened.

One becomes a master, a chief. Rao is considered chief of the gods in mythology. The letter R in Rao signifies that he is the head, the chief.

That is why Resh or letter R is the twentieth letter in the Hebrew and English alphabet. Aleph, the first letter, descends into existence, manifests creation, and elaborates nature, all for the purpose of that Aleph returning back to its source, but awake, cognizant. The letter א Aleph represents your Innermost Self, the fire of Rao, which in Hebrew is Ruach Elohim.

The Rao of fire is your Innermost, it is your Being, God, Buddha. In Asian terms, it would be called Yidam. Those who practice Tantric Buddhism meditate daily on their yidam, their deity, a divine form that they meditate upon in which they imagine and visualize becoming that.

This isn’t about arrogance; it’s about through the practice of mediation, of devotion by accepting that you are perfect in your imperfections. The strengths and weakness are all part of the whole, for your true self is divine, is the Ruach Elohim, the fire of Rao. For that to occur, we need to manage our Resh, our head.

It is through our head where the work fully emerges where we become aware. It is a beginning that is initiated in the letter ב Beth, the first letter in Genesis 1:1 in Hebrew. The Divine Mother [ב] first [ראשית] created [ברא] Elohim [אלהים]... - Genesis 1:1

The letter ב Beth represents the Divine Mother, who in her manifestation in nature in Sanskrit is called Kundalini, and in Tibetan is Tummo, she who terrifies the ego. She is the beginning of creation. She is Bereshit bara Elohim, (In the beginning created God) that which is the creation that occurs within us (the Being).

In the language of Kryptonese the word Bethgar means ruler. Within that word is Beth, the Divine Mother. Bethgar is a male ruler while Bythgar is female term. Why this is, I don’t know.

A ruler is one who must have the Divine Mother activated within them. One must have the kundalini rise within. In Christian terms this is the Pentecostal fire or Holy Spirit.

It is through transmutation that fire is harnessed, transformed, enlivened, purified, and it rises up the spinal column of the practitioner to the head. It is the letter Resh which is the letter Uhr in Kryptonian which is in your head. From the rising is the letter Aleph which is A (your Being, God), which is fire. The Divine Mother Kundalini takes the forces of God (the akashic breath) and through willpower and purity carries that Aleph (the second letter in Rao) up the spine.

This is the completion, the cycle of Ra, it is the male and female polarity of energy that is in constant rest and motion cycle.

It was the Egyptian god Ra that was represented in a variety of forms. The most usual form was a man with the head of a hawk and a solar disk on top and a coiled serpent around the disk. Other forms are man with the head of a beetle (in his form as Khepri), or a man with the head of a ram. Ra was also pictured as a full-bodied ram, beetle, phoenix, heron, serpent, bull, cat, or lion, among others.

I will talk more about Ra before I get into the third part of the triune, where the letter O is discussed.

Ra was represented in a variety of forms. The most usual form was a man with the head of a hawk and a solar disk on top and a coiled serpent around the disk.  Other common forms are a man with the head of a beetle (in his form as Khepri), or a man with the head of a ram. Ra was also pictured as a full-bodied ram, beetle, phoenix, heron, serpent, bull, cat, or lion, among others.

    In the Underworld he was most commonly featured with a ram's head in the Underworld;

In this form, Ra is described as being the ram of the west or "ram in charge of his harem.

In some literature, Ra is described as an aging king with golden flesh, silver bones, and hair of lapis lazuli.

On this earth, the god Ra is symbolized as the sun. The sun is a symbol of the source of all that brings life. Without the sun, there is no life. The sun is not to be worshipped as above us. Worship means worthiness, in nature all things are worthy and not above any other. Those who understood this did not worship a being or beings outside themselves that is higher. In nature all is equal worth and nature worshippers like the ancient Egyptians acknowledge all is worthy; therefore worshipping the sun was no different than worshipping anything else or one self.

Everything that exists is a manifestation of electromagnetic energy that permeates existence. Within the Universe, energy appears to move in two opposite directions. When energy spirals inward, it’s known as electricity. The prefix of the word el means God. The word electricity comes from 'elektron', the Greek name for amber. In Phoenician the word elēkrŏn, means 'shining light.' While El is a Northwest Semitic word meaning god, in Kryptonize, the word El means star.

Electricity is amber in Greek, which is tree resin used to make jewelry that resembles the color of the sun. In Phoenician its shining light, which could be a star, a star is a sun. The name El has been adopted by the family of the House of El to mean star. Superman’s birth name Kal El means Star Child. Kal El started his mission at the age of 33, the same age Jesus was crucified. The number 33 is the number of vertebrae in the spine.

On Krypton the red sun is called Rao, used to symbolize the same thing the god Ra symbolized in Egypt. The god of light and life.

When energy spirals in its called electricity and when it spirals outward is known as magnetism. This continuous flux is electromagnetic energy. When it’s in different vibration, it manifest as gamma rays, ex rays infra rays, visible light, etc, it consist all the electromagnetic spectrum. It is light in all its form. Matter is just frozen light. The eternal cycle of electricity and magnetism is the father mother aspect of Ra.

R in Ra is the primordial cosmic energy and represents the dynamic forces that are thought to move through the entire universe.

A in Ra is the limitless, transcendent and unchanging absolute and the primal Self of the universe.

Within our self, R is the fire that rises in the spine that lifts our A (wind, your Being) up the spine.

In Kryptonian language the letter O which is the letter O is pronounced rao. This could be that the sound of O is part of the eternal sound of om used as sound that represents eternal. According to a UFO abductee named Betty Andreassen Luca the beings she called the Elders chant the sound of O as an eternal sound.

In Kryptonian the letter s is not used for plural, it is the letter o, such as in the word Kalo which means children while Kal means child.

The vibrations of electromagnetic energy manifest the third part of the trinity. The third part of the trinity is the infinite manifestations of forms in the universe. It is the O. that means everything that exists is rao. We are miniature versions of rao. Since there are infinite expressions, then we are the plural form of Ra. Rao in Kryptonian is the plural expression of Ra that is expressed in all creation.

I am Ra, you are Ra, we are all Rao.

So while individually each of us is Ra, each of us individually is also rao (O). In each of us, are many manifestations of Rao such as our cells, and the molecules our cells are made of and the atoms the molecules are made of. Rao is manifested infinitely smaller inside us and infinitely larger outside of us. Everything that exists is a fractal of the whole, that means everything that exists
