The rest of us seeking truth, wanting a better life, the ultimate destiny, and desire to go from victory to victory will take the red pill and be fully awakened, enlightened, conquering in our journeys.

This was written for the millennial generation and their families, the first programmed generation.

Our Belief System

Our families are one of the best investments we can make. By building them up, protecting them and equipping them with the tools they will need long term, we for-fill our role in family. We all come from dysfunctional families, no one is born into a perfect family because of our fallen nature. But Christ has come to restore all things including our broken families.

Many of us are not aware as Christians why our families are under attack. What many of us fail to realize is that there is a spiritual battle going on. It’s an epic war that has been declared in Genesis 3:15…And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. This is where it all began. God declared war against the tares gang, the bad seed. The whole bible from Genesis to Revelation is God’s kingdom vs kingdom of darkness. Two different kingdoms battling it out over two seeds, the seed of God and the seed of Satan.

One kingdom attacks and the other counter attacks. Until Revelation comes and the bible says that Jesus will come to harvest the wheat and the tares. He will separate the seed of God from the seed of Satan at the end. So all that we know about God is about an epic battle, the ultimate Star Wars if you will, and we, yes all humanity is what is at stake…which kingdom will each of us serve?

When we were not believers, many of us were more successful and under less stress. When we became believers, we became targets because we have now become enemies to the kingdom of darkness, so we are targeted. When we were out in the world with no relationship with God, Satan didn’t have to mess with us. But when we left the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light, Satan came after us and our families. Since we have the image and likeliness of God, wherever we go we remind Satan of God and they are enemies.

From the moment we accept Christ as our Savior, we are reborn into the kingdom of Christ and we become the seed of God. Our children and grandchildren become coheirs to the kingdom of God and they are targeted. You know how kingdoms work, any family of the enemy kingdom has to be slaughtered because they will rebel against the king that is taking over power according to history. Satan and the tares gang is out to destroy the royal family, so he targets the coheirs of God’s kingdom. Satan wants to claim all humanity as his own.

Jesus came to this earth to establish his kingdom. Jesus came to reclaim what was lost through sin in Adam. I will get further into this in the next chapter. John 10:10 says that the thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. Jesus then goes on to say… I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. So Satan’s purpose and goal is to destroy our lives and deceive us any way possible but God comes to counter attack, give us life and give us life abundantly. Two kingdoms with two different purposes and they are constantly counteracting each other from generation to generation. They are in constant opposition to each other and opposed. One of the reasons our enemy has been so successful in this diabolic scheme of robbing, killing and destroying our families is that he has a winning strategy. It’s not a new strategy but its a winning strategy. The family bond and unit as well as the fundamental core belief system in hope, faith and love are Satan’s favorite things to undermined. Never before in our history have we seen the definition of our family and individual roles under attack. Genders and families are being confused by our own educational system, government and Hollywood. Our youth is being confused.

Our value system is under attack by the kingdom of darkness. In order to be successful in undermining our core belief system, Satan has built up health systems, government, social media, educational systems, Hollywood, to develop a multilevel attack. Satan is doing a real good job. These systems are constantly bombarding our minds in order to influence and change the way we think and what we believe in. If Satan can change the way you think and the things you believe, your core values, then he’s got you! And Satan does this through a multitude of things constantly invading our minds and challenging our core values. He does it through pure deception because he is the father of lies. This is the same tactic that he used in the garden of Eden when he tried to influence the way Eve was thinking and believing about God. Satan used a play on words to influence Eve to deny her core values.

Satan did the same thing when he tempted Jesus as Jesus prayed. Satan asked Jesus, doesn’t it say this and isn’t that written? And Jesus counterattacked by responding, it is written, it is written, it is written. Jesus did not allow Satan to shake and change his core belief in God the Father.

Satan plays with our minds because he knows that what you and I believe is important. Satan goes straight for our minds and hearts. He will do all that he can to convince you to shift your way of thinking. The enemy will always attack our thought process first before he destroys us. This is also why the bible is always exhorting us to renew our minds and understanding with the word of God. The bible also tells us that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. This is the power of the heart and determination that God has given us, for as we think, so we are. Wow. This is powerful, in other words, if you think your are going to fail a test, if you think about it enough, you fail the test. If you think you will never get a better job and never get out of debt, you will never get out of debt. If you think you will never be happy again, chances are you will never be happy again, why? Because what you and I believe directly affects our outcome. It will determine our behavior and the circumstances around us.

If he can persuade you into believing you are going to die of cancer, he has you, you are done. If he can persuade you that you will never remarry and never be happy again, you are done. He has dominion over you because he shifted your thinking because as a man thinketh, so is he. We are the sickest generation in history. We are the most depressed, unhappy, unhealthy generation this far, because Satan has deceived us, he has robbed us of hope, faith and love. And everywhere we go, we see people that look like the walking dead, they go to the masseuse, drive a BMW yet they are miserable. What we believe in and how we believe it will work into the determination of our hearts. Your belief system is tied to your heart. This is why the enemy knows if he can get to your mind, he can overtake your heart, therefore setting you up for a destiny without your fundamental core value system…no hope, no faith, no love and no God. See that? This is why we need the armor of God, to protect our minds from the enemy. This is Satan’s strategy.

Our belief system feeds, drives and connects three main areas of our hearts. Satan attacks our belief system because it nurtures our hope, faith and how and who we choose to love. Romans 10:9-10…That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

What these verses are telling us is that what we believe with our mind and we say with our mouths is our belief system. It becomes our creed and it will give us determination to overcome anything.

Proverbs 18:21 says, death and life are in the power of the tongue…so whatever you confess will come to you. So when you feel miserable and start having suicidal thoughts and confess it, you come into agreement with the enemy and then he’s got you. In coming into agreement with the enemy, you are in his control now, right where he wants you to be. He has deceived you. Now, everything you confess, you believe it. See how this works? With who have you come into agreement with lately? The bible clearly speaks of a power that is released when we confess with our mouths, what we believe in
