INTRODUCTION

When I was in my 40’s, my life was turned upside down. In two years, I got separated from my husband after 20 years of marriage and divorced. My daughter had brain surgery. My mother had open heart surgery. Then a few months later, my mother passed away.  It was stressful, and I did not know if I would make it.

I called myself a Christian at this time but was not living like one. I did not have a relationship with Jesus. I had many open doors to the enemy. Satan was trying to destroy everything I held dear to my heart. Satan's goal is to steal, kill and destroy. But on April 16, 2013, God began transforming my life, and I have never been the same.  Thank you, Jesus. 

It all started one evening my kids were at their dads for the weekend. I was watching tv and thought, I needed to go to the liquor store to get something to drink. I was a social drinker; I drank to numb my pain and emptiness. When I got home, throughout the night, I thought to myself, I’m not feeling any of the effects of this alcohol. I then looked over at the bottle, and it was empty.  I knew that God was saying something. That very evening God took the addiction to alcohol away, and I have never looked back. He then drew me to His word, which I had never read before, and could not get enough of it. One night as I was reading the Word of God, the verse in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 where it says fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God. I gasped because I was a fornicator. I asked the Lord to forgive me, and He immediately took that sexual sin addiction from me too.  My life has been so transformed. I cannot thank God enough for His love, grace, and mercy for me. Now I teach others everything the Lord has taught me the past 12 years.   I am in awe of my LORD, Savior and King Jesus. I thank Him every day for pulling me out of darkness and bringing me into his marvelous light. Psalm 107:14

We can walk in faith, peace, and freedom regardless of the chaos we encounter or how gloomy the world may appear. This book is a guide to help you navigate life’s storms while maintaining your faith, peace, and joy.  It’s an invitation to examine your soul in greater detail and understand how the enemy can try and impact your daily life.

How many times have you tried to walk by faith and needed a response from God? I’m referring to a direct word from the Lord to support you now.

Even though we are all aware that God is eternal and does not work according to the laws of time, we may rest assured that He moves and intervenes on our behalf when we put our confidence in Jesus, what He has said, and the promises He has given in His Word.

2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us that we walk by faith, not sight. But wait, what exactly does it mean to walk by faith?

The phrase walk by faith itself indicates movement. You are embarking on a journey if you are walking by faith. You need to do more than believe during this journey. You must exercise awareness of your words, actions, and thoughts.

It’s very easy to get bogged down by the commotion around us as we make our way through life. We encounter daily obstacles that put our faith, peace, and freedom to the test in this uncertain and chaotic world. Life may be difficult, with everything from financial difficulty to personal problems, from political unrest to natural disasters. But we still have the chance to walk in freedom, serenity, and faith, even in the middle of chaos.

This book will help you to expose how Satan has been messing in areas of your life and giving you the tools to shut the doors that Satan was able to walk into. While strengthening your faith, with the authority God has given you to crush the enemy.  It’s an invitation to examine your soul in greater detail and understand how old wounds and trauma impact your daily lives, relationships and choices you make. We’ll look at the enemy’s strategies and how he manipulates our words, ideas, and deeds to secure the right to meddle in our life.

Satan is an expert con artist whose main objectives are to steal, kill, and destroy. Satan paralyzes us with his schemes and prevents us from living the abundant life that God has for us by using fear, doubt, and anxiety. The authority that God has given us can be reclaimed, allowing us to walk in freedom and peace once we are aware and decern the enemy’s strategies.

You will embark on a voyage of self-discovery while reading this book, which will assist you in determining the areas of your life where the enemy has gained access. We’ll examine the power of words on our destination. We’ll explore the voices we listen to and discover how to distinguish between God’s voice and the voice of the Devil. We’ll also discuss the effects of word and generational curses and how to end them.

Though few of us are aware of it, spiritual pollution is a problem that many of us face. This pollution manifests as unfavorable attitudes, relationships, and bondage to sin, and it can create blocks in our spiritual connection, that prevent us from fully receiving God’s best for our life. We’ll talk about how to purge the spiritual clutter from our life so we may receive the rewards God has in store for us.

As we progress through this book, we’ll discover how to close the doors we have opened to the enemy. We’ll examine doable actions we may take to prevent the enemy from establishing a base in our life. We’ll also discuss the value of spiritual housekeeping, a process that helps us maintain the spiritual cleanliness of our homes and our souls.

This book is ultimately about accepting the wonderful life that God has planned for us. It’s about maintaining our freedom, peace, and faith despite the mayhem going on all around us. It’s important to realize that while the enemy is real, his strength is limited and he can only mess with us if we open a door to him.   It’s about figuring out how to use the strength and authority that God has given us to foil the Devil’s plans.

This book is for you if you’re feeling overwhelmed by life’s chaos, are having a hard time finding peace and freedom, or are looking for a means to strengthen your faith and have a more meaningful experience of God’s love. Together, we’ll explore the spiritual forces at play in our lives and discover how to live a life of faith, freedom, and peace no matter what comes our way in life.

CHAPTER ONE

HOW SATAN GETS THE LEGAL RIGHT TO MESS WITH YOUR LIFE

Every believer must acknowledge the realities of spiritual battle. According to the Bible, Satan is our enemy and is continuously trying to steal, kill, and destroy our life as we struggle against spiritual forces of evil (1 Peter 5:8, John 10:10). While we may be aware of this spiritual conflict, we might not always be able to understand how Satan enters our lives undetected and causes havoc in our relationships, health, finances, and other areas.

In this chapter, we will look into how Satan is able to legally meddle in our lives. We’ll examine many ways Satan infiltrates our lives and talk about how to defend ourselves from his assaults. We will also look at the biblical guidelines for spiritual authority and deliverance, as well as the effectiveness of prayer and faith in resisting the Devil’s temptations and attacks.

Satan does not create anything.  He only has power if we open the door to him and believe his lies.  He uses the same tactics he has used since the beginning of time.  If you see this pattern of attacks happening in your life ...Close any door that you may have opened to the enemy that has given him legal right to mess with your life.  Repent and ask God to forgive you and start living for Jesus. Follow his commandments.  When you do this the doors that were opened to the enemy will be shut and you will see a transformation in every aspect of your life.  Start speaking life over yourself, your family, your finances and your health. 

This is how the enemy starts to deconstruct your life usually in this order:

Speaking negative things about yourself, your job, your spouse, children, life. Unhappiness.

Trouble/fighting with family, friends, marriage, children, unrest at home.
