Thoughts

We all have them some good some bad correct? Yes. Does the Lord care about what we think? Absolutely the bible confirms this truth it commands us to set our minds on things of above not earthy things. Colossians 3:2 (KJV)- Set your affection on things above, Not on things in the earth.It’s easy to get distracted in this day and age with all the Technology right at our fingertips, We’re as people more distracted than ever and are reaping the consequences of it to the point that some are no longer fruitful in the things of God. In the 19th verse of Mark chapter four it paints a perfect picture of what we see going on now days. Mark 4:19(KJV) reads And the cares of this World, And the deceitfulness of riches , and the lust of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.Our focus can and sometimes does effect the way we live. Are you so concerned with the things of the World that the word of God is not in your mind anymore? Or That it holds little value to you? Could it be that you have read the word of God and didn’t see a promise come to pass on your timing so you’ve now decided to believe it’s not true? Whatever the reason our thoughts matter, And we need God’s word to combat the lies of the world.If we don’t set our minds on God’s word and the things of God Satan and his agents(demons) will begin filling our minds with ungodly thoughts, They will have us believing we need certain things that we dont, We need God and his words to fight against these demonic forces if not we will fall victim to the lies Satan and his team feeds us. Do thoughts of more money consume your mind most of the time but you have more than enough in the bank? If so let’s examine what the word of God says concerning Money. 1 Timothy 6:10(KJV)- For the Love of money is the root of all evil,which some coveted after, they have erred from the faith,and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.Liking money is not the issue here but loving it is, Are you willing to go against God’s written word to get money? If so you love money and need God’s help to help change your mindset.Romans 12:2 KJV- And be not conformed to this world: But be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, That ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.There are many things that we are taught that we need to unlearn, many lies have taken the place for what’s actually true and has effected the way many live.Allow me to use a example, most of us like I were taught that santa claus is real, We also believed that he was dropping off presents at our houses or the places we stayed at when we were younger. We later find out as children that our parents or guardians had lied to us for years, This is very unhealthy to some children and usually causes confusion, It makes many of them question things Like why did my parents lie to me".Many parents don’t see the destruction or possible destruction in lying to their kids but

then turn around and have a problem when their child starts lying, Kids will learn from us and they will mimic our behaviors

.Another topic that comes to mind is all the different beliefs we have in the world, Many believe in allah, Others believe in buddah and some believe in reincarnation, You may or may not believe in one of these things i mentioned above but if you’re a Christian as i am you would know that there is no other way to God but through Jesus.John 14:6(KJV)- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:no man cometh unto the father, but by me. We know the truth cause we know Jesus on a personal level, Those who don’t know God are open to these false beliefs satan offers them which are not in any way, shape, or form the way into entering in a genuine relationship with our creator, Lord and savior, King Jesus.The word of God is our truth and the word of God is also proven to be true.Proverbs 30:5(NLT)-Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. We allow the word of God to have the final say on everything, We read it, meditate on it, Use the words of God during prayer,And We make the word of God our standard for living.Satan will send out his minions(Demons) in attempts to steal the truths that we have learnt in God’s word. John 10:10(KJV)-The thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Satan and his agents will place different what ifs in our mind, What if what i’m believing is a lie? What if God is not really real? What if it’s all my imagination playing games with me? These attacks will come from the enemies of God( Satan and his demons) but we must be willing to engage in spiritual warfare as Jesus did. Satan told Jesus that if
