The Truth Hurts Before It Heals - Ronnie Chiles

    How We Consume Truth

It is quite sickening to me personally to watch the spread of social deprivation in the heartland of America. The many blessings it has received as a nation traditionally only afford those in power such as the bankers, who were bailed out during the housing and mortgage debacle with the people’s money, more power. Although many socially brainwashed and institutionally conditioned citizens continue to earnestly defend the status quo, and turn a blind eye to what’s really going on. We all need to learn how to distinguish between the truth and fiction. We all need to start accepting truth for what it is, and has always been. As long as so many people chose to live in self-denial, hatred, constant disagreement, and to consume the blatant lies that continue to be used to socially generate so much anger, many will not pay real attention to the organic aspects of truth because the lie has become the truth, and the truth the lie.

I had to stop watching certain movies like those that depict slavery and the Civil Rights Movement because anger has its roots in my body as well as in my mind, just as my sense of truth and morality does. When we examine the lie closely, we can see its well-designed features, and the many indications of deception because the narrative changes. When one lie is told, another one has to be told to cover the first one. But the truth is the truth, today, tomorrow and always, as it stands on its own merits. You must learn to look deeply into what you eat, drink and consume as truth, as the lie will contaminate your mind, just like unhealthy food contaminates your body. Saving yourself a lot of suffering, agony and misery is totally up to you. When you journey through this life trying to please other people and live up to their exceedingly unrealistic and high expectations of you, you gradually become a beaten down soul who has allowed your lack of faith and due diligence to distort your perception and manipulate your heart, regarding your desire to honor and adhere to God’s purpose and plan for your life. We all sometimes have misunderstood what we heard and what we saw. Having a wrong idea of what has been done or said will not prepare us as a people, a nation, and a society for the kind of blatant ignorance, violence, corruption and indifference that we are still witnessing as so called free people. The truth is the only thing that can energize and motivate you. The lie is merely being disbursed to mislead and confuse you. This is particularly true when it comes to the type of shame, embarrassment and guilt that leads to self-destruction and the devaluing of one’s self-image. We all should do a much better job as a nation to put the less fortunate people, that we share this planet with, first. However, the fact that those who have all of the wealth and power actually rule, and what has been perceived as truth in the past, is still being perceived as truth today. Many more people from all socioeconomic backgrounds and walks of life have become more and more outraged over what’s really going on in this great nation of ours.

On the night of November 7, 2000, President George W. Bush and his brother Jed Bush defrauded the disenfranchised citizens of Dade County Florida out of their constitutional right to vote. It is the very day that voting in this country, for me at least, became a futile exercise. I could see the sham called democracy then, just like I continue to see it still today, given that nothing much has actually changed since that time. This is exactly why Mr. Donald Trump is now sitting in the White House representing the American People. Satan is in control of this earth, and it will simply continue to crumble before our eyes. In this day and age, it really doesn’t matter if you vote or don’t vote, in my personal opinion, because the majority of politicians are in bed with the devil, regardless of their political affiliation. The only true leader is a dead leader, and the only one who can offer any of us true equality, justice and freedom is God almighty. There is only one thing that can silence the truth, and that is a bullet. Men like Medgar Evers, Martin Luther King Jr., and both John and Robert Kennedy are responsible for exposing the devil and many of his half-truths and lies concerning the modern-day era. This is why in our daily connection with such questions as, who am I? we must start practicing what we preach, and getting others to do so as well. We as human beings must be able to feel, touch or see a thing physically before we deem it to be real. Nevertheless, when you are not seated at the table, you are on the table. The four girls murdered by Ku Klux Klansmen in the September 15, 1963 bombing of Birmingham’s Sixteenth Street Baptist Church represent the same truth that the nine African-Americans who were gunned down in the Charleston shooting by Dylan Roof, a 21-year-old white supremacist, symbolizes. The dazzling explosion of truth continues to go off all around us daily in this great nation of ours. Yet many people refuse to open their hearts, minds and eyes to what’s really going on. Many young black men in our urban inner-cities who have been blatantly gunned down by police officers continue to be written off as gangsters and thugs. Yet the biggest gangster or thug this nation has ever known resides in our capitol, Mr. Donald Trump, and we call him Mr. President. There are millions upon millions of Americans who call themselves Christians and attend church every Sunday morning. Yet many of these so called Christians can never arrive at a moral and humane stance when it comes to people who don’t act like them, look like them, talk like them, or worshipped like them.

I have come to the end of my road when it comes to my desire to collect false hope and trust in a system that was never really designed for me, as an African-American man. Few people learn how to live life on purpose, one day at a time, and to absolutely place their faith in God. Many would much rather live above their means and give Satan more leverage over their lives, in hopes of giving their children a better life than they had. Since they are too busy embracing the lies and anger that are, in all honesty, being practiced and passed on generationally. People have become so self-absorbed and narcissistic in nature, that they don’t even realize that they are the victims of their own twisted perception. The many will continue to head down to the voting booths, and to trust in the board of corruption, rather than elections to honestly represent them. Satan has become so brazenly arrogant and open with what he is teaching the world to embrace as the truth, while creating more and more division amongst the people and, at the same time, blinding the minds of so many. They should be reading and studying the word of God, instead of wasting their time begging Satan and our extremely corrupt, twisted and dysfunctional system of things to do the right thing.

God Has Put Forever and A Day in Your Heart

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23) Our forever can only be characterized as favorable or unfavorable through the eyes of God, our heavenly Father and creator, through what we choose to consume and feed our eyes, ears and mindfulness. When we are obsessed with the worldly and enriching things that link us more to our desire to please the self, flesh and humankind, the forever and a day that God has put in our hearts is not effectively linking us to His will and His eternal promise of everlasting life. Therefore, developing a day to day strategy for walking by faith and not by sight is very important. The forever and a day philosophy is most definitely connected to the kind of magazine articles we read, what we view on television, and the toxic propagandas and social hoop-la that we allow to negatively impact our thinking, being and doing. Since all of these things contain within them a hint of irritation, anger, frustration or bias. What we allow our hearts and minds to hold hands with becomes like a piece of beef that contains mad cow disease. If we consume these elements, we are allowing the toxins and contaminants of our culture to move us further and further away from the seed of forever, that God has securely planted in our hearts. This is why all we express in life can only originate from what we know. If we don’t know how to do better, we can’t move away from the many toxins and poisons that contaminate our thought process and keep us stuck on stupid. However, when we begin to consume more of God’s truth and to eat less of the secularism that dirties our spirit, we don’t have to take refuge in our embarrassment, guilt and sense of spiraling out of control shame. When we start to move away from our inner-child or the God in us, we move further away from God’s promise of eternal life. This is precisely why we become overwhelmed with more sorrow confusion and depression in life. Not adhering to the seed of abundance and goodness that God has planted in us can find us obsessed with the treasures of this world and consuming a lot of negativity. This negative thinking, being and doing can create a lot of suffering and hardship for us and it can eventually contribute to our spirit becoming very damaged and broken. Spiritual poverty places our children and grandchildren in a kind of moral and offensive debt because it essentially makes each new upcoming generation responsible to pay for what it had no actual hand in creating. America’s twisted mindset of spending money that it doesn’t have to be paid-off by future generations under the appearance and pretense of freedom, is but a Ponzi scheme, that is being made up by our political leadership. Our children and grandchildren are not ethically obliged to pay off our outrageous national debt. Baby Boomers, like myself, are living off of the dollars being invested by the millennials, and the millennials will be forced to live economically off of the backs of their children and grandchildren, if humankind survives that long. Since, when we are young vibrant and cost-effectively productive, our government offers us all kinds of retirement programs and plans that look really beneficial and fruitful. But by the time we reach retirement age, the eighty percent return on our money that we had originally been promised, has been reduced down to thirty percent. Yet, we the people continue to place our trust in a prehistoric and antiquated social system of growing dysfunction, scandal and corruption. We are always being referred to as one nation, under God. When, in fact, we have never actually worked together to transform the misogyny, xenophobia, racism, resentment and indifference that we tend to display towards one another generationally into the fruit of lasting brotherhood and peace. I can only see that you have a sincere intent to be trustworthy to me, respect me, and value my right to disagree with you, not only
