Torn Garments of a Christian Soldier: Assurance Through God's Enriched Promises
()
About this ebook
Torn Garments of a Christian Soldier was given to the author by the Holy Spirit, during a time of much prayer and fasting. Throughout this book you will be able to understand the different levels of brokenness and also deliverance in each chapter.
This particular book was written to allow all to have an open mind toward inner feelings we dare not talk about. As you read each chapter, you will see how others express their emotions with life challenges and some of great pain as they recognize that all Gods children have issues at times. I pray that this book will touch and inspire each of you.
Debbie Y. Prejean
Debbie Prejean, an anointed woman of God, gave her life to Christ in her former years through many struggles, grief, and much pain. In this walk for her Lord and Savior she has come to love and appreciate Him even more. Debbie has been called on this journey to do work that shows God’s people that all obstacles are standing in our way, and yet He truly lives. Through many areas in her life God has healed her, delivered her, and set her free. Writing Torn Garments of a Christian Soldier has given Debbie an inner peace and strength to carry on until her works are complete. Most of all, she has admired pastors’ and teachers’ commitments to God and the deliverance for the souls of His people. Debbie is a mother of one daughter, a grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren, and a great-grandmother to one great-grandson. She is walking this walk by the spirit of God and has been given a blueprint from the mighty hands of the Lord. She is standing and striving to complete this walk for God’s perfect will.

DEDICATION
I dedicate this book to my loving daughter Shenetria Wilson, my three grandchildren Kei’Sha, Samuel and Xzavier, and my bubbling of joy great-grandson Khristian. Thanks for the push to reality that true love is the opening chapter of life and all the encouraging words that pressed me out of measure. Love you, Mama and Nanny
Special, thanks to Minister Demetria Patten for her devoted love, immeasurable time, comforting words of encouragement which kept my mind at peace. And faith in my abilities to finish this book Torn Garment of a Christian Soldier
. Demetria, you are an angel sent from heaven, and a spiritual-daughter that knows what to say and do at the right time. I personally thank you for reminding me that all things work together for the good of them that loves the Lord. Love, Mom P
To beautiful sisters in Christ, Minister Emma Keys and Elder Clorice Henry, for speaking life back into this broken vessel. To God be the Glory for your love and obedience to the voice of Jesus Christ to break through my walls of pain, fears and grief. Love You Sis
To Anointing Birth Ministries, my life has been a journey of many trials, but in spite of all I am still able to ride on the Wings of Lord Jesus Christ my Provider. Words can only tell little what this ministry has done for me so I’ll just say let us continue to look up and believe that all things are possible if we would just believe and trust God written Word. Prophetess Prejean
To the doubters that spoke only words of failure and pains thank you for every negative word spoken and pain given. My faith is that God will lead me to the destiny and to accomplish His will for me. My prayers and thanks for reminding me to trust God in all things.
Dr. Judy Harrison a true leader appointed and anointed to rip out the inner lining of our enemy game plan. Words can only express little for all that you have poured into my spirit-man. I thank you for speaking mending words of life back into this broken shell of clay. I salute you for the uncompromised love you show all God’s people.
FOREWORD
Men and Women today have many issues of oppression: financially, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. There is a subtle attack taking place against Christians today. The Bible says that Satan was more subtle that any other wild creature,
(Genesis 3:1 KJV). Distractions, past hurts, and disappointments are still obstacles that Christian people face today. In the Book of Ephesians, Paul warned us to put on the whole armour of God that we might be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, (Ephesians 6:11 KJV). Satan has always been a subtle deceiver, but now in these last days he has renewed his assault.
"The Torn Garment of a Christian Soldier" helps one to realize that you are truly beautiful—both inside and out—in spite of today’s standards. In fact sometimes the lack of dimension often demanded of our lives will have a person to starve when they are unable to choose which star to reach for; will it be love, hope, spirituality, ambition, career, marriage, children, etc.? It can be the paradox of womanhood and manhood elucidated clearly for you. I strongly believe every person, young and old, throughout their lives’ will strike different chords at different times. It taught me about how unfair the world can be to certain people, but you should always fight for what’s right.
"Be sober, be vigilant; because our adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour ". (1 Peter 5:8 KJV) The Bible says that Satan is a deceiver, a liar, and the father of lies (see John 8:44 KJV). Although he cannot defeat us, he can deceive us and his plan of deception has unfortunately been successful against the body of Christ in general and women in particular. This plan of deception has damaged the lives of countless people who were meant to bring glory to God and victory to the body of Christ. Men and women everywhere are under attack as the devil attempts to block our blessings, causes our spiritual gifts to be ineffective, trivialize our anointing, and nullify the power working through us to deliver God’s Word to hurting people. Men and women both inside and outside the church community struggle with substance abuse and addictions—from alcohol to compulsive eating, and even to prescription drugs. People everywhere suffer from illnesses brought on from stress and tension. Our health-related issues rack at the top of the list of leading causes of death in America. We, the people need to be HEALED, REVIVED, RESTORED, RENEWED, and REGENERATED. We need a fresh touch from God and a new attitude of determination that God’s plan will not be thwarted in our lives.
Reaching new levels in God does not come easily. It does not come without a price tag. It does not come without struggles. Each level of our upward progression will be marked by another attempt to pull us off course. When Paul and Silas were imprisoned for their faith, their feet were bound and their hands were chained. They were in the stronghold of the prison (see Acts 16:16-24 KJV) with no chance of
