Astrology for The New Age
Before we get into this month’s inner/outer planet business, a business that will involve Mars, a planet that, I’ve heard, orbits out between Venus and Jupiter and that has garnered for himself a bit of a bad reputation due to his connection to bitter battles, bad blood, and bodacious leapings into whatever frays seem on offer. We will try to take some new angles on this fellow, perhaps rehabilitating his reputation somewhat. Before getting into all that, let’s look at two current astrological goings-on, for I know that you, gentle readers, want to keep up-to-date with such things, the better to navigate your way through a fallen world which may qualify, despite the bright sunshine that helps my garden to grow, as an underworld, as Mephistopheles, seemingly some kind of authority on underworlds, seems to suggest early in Christopher Marlowe’s The Tragical History and Death of Dr. Faustus…Did you get all that?

And speaking of underworlds, let’s consider Pluto, a planet that, in the opinion of your trustworthy columnist, has a connection with language.
