    Dear reader and poetry lover.

I am very proud to have put together all the Poetry Treasures, Vols one, two, three and four, in this one special edition, so please enjoy!

These littles rhymes were inspired by the world around us.

I hope these poems are so much more than just rhyming ditties,

inviting even the least poetic of us to take enjoyment from these pages.

    Your True Colours

    Who decides what you believe?

Who says what you should achieve?

    Ambitions only you desire?

Dreams that light your eyes with fire?

Who maps out a life for you?

Who knows what for you is true?

    Manipulation cogs will turn

And your true dreams they’ll try to burn

    Recognise them as they near

Pay no notice, have no fear

    All decisions must be yours

    Responsibility is your cause

You alone must make your choice

Let no one cloud your inner voice

Then your life will bloom and grow

And let your amazing colours show!

    ++

    Easter is Looming

Easter is looming and I see a struggle

I reckon my diet might get into trouble

I’m staying off chocolate and all foods with fat

But will power I don’t have, I’m not good with that

There’s chocolate eggs everywhere filling the room

The closer it’s getting the more I sense doom

I’ve been pretty good so far, lost over a stone

But too many Easter eggs I have been shown

    ------

Well the kids couldn’t wait, and they’ve started with haste

My own strength is waning, maybe just one taste?

So I nibble a little, but I knew I should not

‘Cos with no sense of will power, I’ve eaten the lot!

    Witches of Heat

Oh my, I can hardly breathe

The cauldron starts to boil and seethe

    Volcanic witches start to chant

    Try to resist, I can’t, I can’t

    Their spell creates unbearable heat

That spreads across from head to feet

Like dragons fire inside it lashes

Burns inside with red hot flashes

No one near me sees the peril

Stoked up by this inner devil

    Water drips as I perspire

Gasp for air to calm this fire

These witches come with just one name

    And they play a nasty
