WHY am I writing a book that can easily place me in a contradictory position--to be set for failure, wrongful accusations, and judgment not only from unbelievers, but not-so surprisingly, fellow Christians?  Why am I producing something to make the human eyebrow exhaust itself with mental misunderstanding, slight confusion, and numerous questions that it cannot find appropriate answers to? Why is it that a sometimes happy and not-so-happy married heterosexual male is creating a severe graphic account about two homosexual lovers? I guess the obvious answer is he must be an undercover brother.   Alas, such is not the truth as there is zero percent interest to explore another man's anatomy besides my own.  Plus I'm too busy fighting the good fight of faith resisting all the heterosexual sin from a life of porn addiction, womanizing and fantasizing expressed through lustful masturbation stored in my flesh. 

So why am I writing this? Why, why, WHY?!!!  I believe for a lesser obvious reason: it's what I feel the Good Lord has placed on my spirit to do.  The story's structure alone is pure evidence that I was not under any other influence except the battle of flesh versus spirit.  I'm well aware there would be head scratching moments to make the reader say, Well that's not of God.  And you are validated for such thinking.  However, with utmost confidence and sincerity, I say that this is the story God wanted.  This is a small epic to promote my Heavenly Father's plenteous mercy and unyielding love for His children.  Too many times we dumb down our struggles as mild I'm-too-ashamed-to-say accounts from fear of people rejecting us because their stomachs easily get squeamish digesting a grim truth. (A story about a little girl getting raped and the details are limited to PG-13 flashbacks? Seriously?)

But life is far from our problems coming wrapped in a bouquet accompanied by a box of chocolates.  Life sometimes is dark, if not all the time for others, but I know personally there is a light.  That light known as The Lord Jesus has guided me out of so many pitch-black tunnels...I don't know where I would be without His hand holding mine.

I need to address another
