This book is a sequel to my first book "The Story of Me". I wrote my very personal story eight years ago and had it published six years later. It told of my pain, struggle and victory over the sexual abuse that occurred in my child hood.

Since the release of that book, I have been persecuted, shunned, educated, strengthened and supported in ways that only better prepared me for ministry to others in this arena.

This book is more of a "how to" manual, how to recognize, relate to, categorize and be delivered from the effects of sexual abuse in your life.

Although I outline the process and the steps involved in getting free from the vicious cycle of abuse, my intent is still not to advise but mainly to let you know, what the process is and that there is a process.

My advice would be that you seek the Lord about your specific experiences and your specific needs.

My prayer is that this outline will aid you in your process.

Minister Diane Jones

Minister Diane Jones is a Registered Nurse, Ordained Minister, Co-founder and Assistant Pastor along with her husband, of their home-based ministry, Equipping the Saints Ministries. Diane accepted the call to ministry and was ordained December 26, 1999. The Lord told her not to let any one label or limit her doing his work.  That directive has allowed her to fulfill roles as a wife, mother, Praise and Worship Leader, Exhorter, Prophetess, Teacher, Counselor, Foster Parent and much more. Minister Dianes' education consist of her life experiences which include Nursing, a Bachelors Degree in Theology and most credibly, attendance in the "School of the Holy Spirit" who is the greatest of all teachers. She currently resides in Maryland with her wonderful husband, friend and companion, Minister Christopher Jones.

Upon reading this book Overcoming Sexual Abuse, I realized that I was not only reading the story of my wife but I was on a serious journey.

This was a journey that dealt with the worst form of sin against God which is sexual sin. My wife delves into the controlling demonic spirit realm and unveils the devils’ plot and plans against mankind, which is a plan to steal, kill and to destroy at any cost.

The residue from sexual abuse is so common and is so accepted in todays’ society that it seems that this is just the way it is. This is just the mindset that the enemy, Satan wants us to have. This mindset is not according to Gods’ word. Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world!

Minister Jones deals with some serious issues that are crippling our people daily, but our God is greater than any plan or plot the enemy can use against us.

Many are trapped in a maze! The way out can be attained if they are willing to do what it takes to achieve freedom.

This book is a God given road map with directions towards freedom from sexual abuse, rape, incest and the residue from it all.

Sexual Abuse is a natural Human Act

It will not go away!

It will be an inherent part of the human race as long as sin (violations against Gods laws), exist in the earth!

It is the result of Sexual Immorality past on from one generation to the next. The worldwide effects of sexual immorality will only be abolished when sin is abolished!

All sin has generational consequences but sexual sin is an assault against ones individual soul and person. It is not just external. It is internal. Therefore it has internal and external consequences.
