God Will Never Divorce You!: A Practical Guide for Christians Thinking About Divorce...and for Believers Dealing With Sexual Issues
()
About this ebook
Legally speaking, a divorce is a "dissolution" of a marriage by a competent court or other competent body. I read one time a statistical data that said that men are eight times more prone than women to commit suicide after a divorce. That statistic was shocking to me!
That meant that out of every divorce that the author was handling, handled, or would handle, some of the man that the author represented would commit suicide. In an effort to evade the statistical data, this book was born.
This book explains the issues around divorce, the devastating effects on families, the root of the problem with divorces and the fallacies that accompany a divorce. Moreover, the author will talk about some issues presented to marriage, men in general and God's plan amidst these issues.
The author takes you, the reader, "through" his journey as a divorcee, a divorce attorney, and now a minister of God. Through it all, God has never divorced him, and the author can now convey to you that "God will never divorce you"!

About the Author
Preface
From a historical perspective, marriage has been the fundamental institution of our society. Without it, we wouldn't exist! In case you wonder, this is the fundamental reason why marriages all over the world are under attack. The question that you have to answer is, who is attacking your marriage?
This book has been written using the Gestalt method and, thus, I will share my own personal experiences as written in the first person singular—a very difficult thing to do. In other words, I will share what has worked and not worked for me in my own life. I have to thank Jesus for saving me from my past, and my wife for her love and support in writing this book.
Divorce! We may all be able to talk about the subject for different reasons—television shows, social media interactions, or even personally. I, on the other hand, have been divorced (more than once), and have helped thousands get divorce. You see, by all world standards, I am considered an expert on the subject simply by participation—both personally and professionally. I am not boasting about it, I am just laying the ground work for the subject at hand. Yes, you heard me right, I have been a divorce lawyer for many years (I have handled thousands of divorces).
Did you stop reading? Please don't! This is my bird's eyes view
on the subject. From the initial interview, to the final hearing or trial, I have been intrinsically wired to talk about divorce and to handle divorces. For the most part, when a person has these kinds of experiences, well, people listen. Like soldiers listen to their commanders! Today, I know that I have been prepared for war … the wrong war! Or is it?
These two aforementioned factors alone can make anyone in the secular world uniquely qualify to talk about the subject of divorce; however, it is a third factor that I know now, was and continues to be the most important one—God told me to talk about divorce! God has prepared me to be able to talk about divorce. Are you listening?
The word of God tells us not to stifle the Holy Spirit.
This means, not to ignore or throw aside the gifts that the Holy Spirit has given us. Apparently, God saw it fit for me to write this book … imagine that! So I questioned God … hey, Moses did the same, right? So, I was allowed to do the same until I listened.
The year was 2015, during my first semester at South Western Baptist Theological Seminary School. Perhaps you are asking, Why is this dude taking seminary school? Isn't he an attorney already?
And this is how I know that God has been preparing me to talk about this subject, since now, I can not only talk from the secular, but from the spiritual side of things as well.
There I was with my wife taking The Christian Home class (yes, both my wife and I were enrolled in seminary school at the same time) where I had to do some soul-searching to realize what I am about to share with the world. It is not easy to talk about your personal failures, let alone admit them, but with God, everything is possible.
It wasn't until I understood that what God puts together, no man can separate,
that I began to fully see God's blessings in my life. You may be asking yourself, did you hear God telling you about divorce after your first or second divorce? And I can honestly say to you, the reader, neither time. I always knew deep inside of me that I was not supposed to divorce but I did it anyways.
Biblically speaking, I was able to get a divorce because of fornication
by the exes. But we are not here to point fingers. I learned in seminary that the Greek word for this phenomena
