About this ebook

Inspired by American injustices of the past and present, this collection of poems seeks to further expose this country's murderous acts against the Black psyche with a poetic truth garnered by the incarcerated body of a free spirit who has been wrongfully exposed to the injustices of America's truth at a young age. Readers are inspired to seek a revolutionary truth and to understand the cause of what is right. Hence, the author asks, Where can I find truth at?"

    AUTHOR’S NOTE

I revised this book of poems adding 11 additional poems because I felt that I had not given you enough poems for the subject that this book tackles which is the injustice we have and continue to suffer at the hands of white America. My feelings for this matter are personal and I fight every day for the correction of it. I am asking those reading this to never give up the fight.  Thank you.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

To my mother, Lulu, you have shined like a light. Thank you for your support and continued love.

To my cousin, Devon, you grew up and you made me want to grow up because age doesn’t make a man grown so at 34, in your light, I am growing.

To the rest of my family and friends, thanks for the love and support.
