Description

Homebirth?! What if something goes wrong?! Why would you even want to do that?! As a sexual assault survivor homebirth has always stood out to me as an option where I could know the people who would potentially be touching my body in a vulnerable emotional state. Tracy, or as the grammers may know her @knowingtracy share her path to homebirth-- her reality, her fears, her perspective as a black woman giving birth in America. Homebirth came with judgement, fear, and unsolicited advice from folks in her village, and Tracy described how she was able to navigate all that jazz to make a choice that felt right for her and her family. Cheers to this amazing woman for showing up and getting real, raw, and vulnerable with us today. Want to have your questions answered on the podcast?
