    DEDICATIONS

All praises due to the most high...each day above ground is a blessing!

This book is dedicated to my beautiful children, who in just looking into their faces give me the drive to succeed as well as a reason to never give up.

To my family who have never left my side and are priceless to me as well as my friends who have loved me sincerely from day one.  Special thanks to keia leverette for being there when I thought I had no one else to turn to.

To my lost soldiers & fallen angels (unfortunately there are too many to name.)

This book was written in the memory of my father (Sammy Jacobs Sr), the mother of my children (Latoia D Melvin) & my brother (Joel ’king jarek’ Sweatte)

Your memory lives on through me and that’s a guarantee..

    I love & miss you!  r.i.peace!

    Az I Thinketh.

    HEAVY

    Heavy

    Is my mind state

    As are my burdens

Once a star in the devils play

Until I righteously closed the curtains

    Erratic actions

    All coincide with savage patterns

    Molested by manhood's materialism

I rise from dusk till dawn

    Hundreds of heavens

    Proceed to exile Satan's spawn

    I move in grooves

    Born to be

    Only The most highs pawn

Heavy as a ton of bricks

    Sitting on a broken heart

I can't let time stand still

    I must move on

From staring at this broken clock

    My worth is heavy

    It goes Unmeasured

    More priceless than buried treasure

    That goes unfound

    Prophetically profound

    I exist only in a king’s space

    Victory is my shadow

    The moon is my nightlight

Even darkness will fear to cast its shadow

    On such a pharaoh

    And yet

So many pieces of the puzzle don't fit

Patiently waiting for greatness is me

    So Here I sit

    Supreme sight

    I play solar solitaire

In a room with no table

    Many opponents

    But only 1 chair

I bring clarity as a charity

    Each thought

    Moonwalks across the universe

    Each sound wave

    I fine tune it

Unable to purchase only a piece of me

    I raise the price

For I only come as a unit

    Elegantly elevated

    I hover over hesitation

    I can satisfy satisfaction

    Still

    I never keep patience waiting

    My drive is

    Equivalent to a crack addicts

    Nothing is out of reach

    So despite the odds

I will still take a crack at it!

    I stay focused

    Like I’m manufactured by Minolta

My mind manifests an exploding nova

My potency is known to cripple fiends

    I am drugs

So they have to weigh my brain on a triple beam

    Big dreamers belittled

    Slick schemers beheaded

    Too stupid to stop it

    So smart you let it

    Defeat you!

    Defeat who?

    Defeat you!

Eyes aren't needed to see the damage

    Defeat can do

    Blindfolded

To the ways of your own culture

    Led astray from civilization

    And left for the vultures

    Merely prey

    For those who never prayed

    A day in their life

    Cursed are they

With the pain and the strife

    I could stand naked!!!

    Yelling!!!!

    Ooh pick me! -pick me!

    Evil still wouldn't take me

Because it simply can’t lift me

    I

    Am

    Too

    Heavy

    AZ THE WORLD TURNS

As the blind man writes a poem in his notebook

As the nurse cleans the wounds of an injured soldier

As the hurricane winds tear through the whole neighborhood

    As the pimp manipulates

Pushing the needle into the young girls arm

As a father walks out on his family for his friends

As a mother abandons her sons for a quick fix

As the government creates more scandals to divide and conquer

As the injustice of the system fails us yet again!

    As the birds
