Jemelia is a primary school Teacher, Poet and Spoken Word Artist from London, England. She loves all things poetry and spoken word and loves to see her work all over the world. SUNDAY VIBES

Sunday music, aka reggae, blasting through the stereo

in between the DJ’s annoying ‘rewind come again selector’ inputs.

The scent of incense trying to mask the smell of Rice and Peas and a choice of a poor animal that didn’t make it—probably a Goat or Chicken.

Weekly visits to Grandma and Grandad’s house, followed by the cleaning.

Their house full—like my
