Soul Of A Man
A collection of poems that helps to describe the feelings of the common man as he journeys through the trials of everyday life. The change of mood from page to page symbolizes the different thoughts that often visit the Soul Of A Man
.
Bloodsuckers
You rip me off just to drive on your streets, yet every day you hand me defeat (Lord have mercy). For you I work everyday and with the fruits if my labor I must pay for war. It keeps raining and I’m tired of explaining why my people ain’t overcame. Hard times ain’t changing we’re still singing we shall overcome still from the slums where my forefathers dwelt. Quiet as it is kept this system is designed to warp your frame of mind. I’m taking mine because it’s supposed to be our time to shine. See it is all about politics, no money, no benefits, no profit. Nothing to lose and everything to gain; let’s put a black eye in the game. I need three Zulu warriors to come with me, strength is in numbers, we should try it and see. We can rise to the top indefinitely, literally we’ve been held down too long to be this strong. Break the chain, use your brain and we can live again, it’s called survival of the fittest and we will remain. Stick to your roots we troops to tell the truth, overcome and chant down Babylon.

Gods Right Hand Man
He stands in front of the sun, yet all I see is sunshine. He is flesh of my flesh and spine of my spine. Sent by design, mine all mine. King of all kingdoms, all loyal subjects can find him if they seek him. Always there to stop my hearts useless bleeding. Never leaving his sheep, mind state deep. Never one leak of manhood always all good
. They tried but could not break him down so in my heart now is where he is found. God speaks through his voice so he continues to run the full course. In the end he still stands and remains to be Gods right hand man.

Whispers away
