Brandy Stone

Just a girl writing through the notions of the world. ~ Brandy Stone ♡ Hey, I'm Brandy, my dream is to inspire others to feel. My art is designed to bring out the emotions we so crave to shut down and bury deep. I have been writing since I can remember, whether songs, poems, or creative writings & stories. My heart is written out on my sleeves, & I've always dreamed of being a motivational speaker of sorts. The innate fierce need to help those around me is why I create. Not everyone is going to understand, in fact, most probably will not, but this is for the ones who do get it. The one's who need it, the one's who lost their voice.

    Mind of Pandemonium - Brandy Stone

    Abused, Traumatized, & Adolescent

    PTSD

    Now I don’t want to sound depressing,

    I shake until I cannot breathe.

    My head feels like it’s compressing,

    I try to regain control of myself.

    These days I can never stop stressing.

    I’m too numb to fix whatever is wrong,

    To be free from this pain would be a blessing.

    I try to free myself by writing these songs;

    The world must be going through testing.

    No matter what I do,

    It’s never right.

    I try to write, but the right words I cannot write.

    They just can’t be wrote.

    I can’t sing that note.

    This letter can’t be read.

    It’s an agonizing ringing in my head.

    I’m tossing and turning in my bed;

    for what seems like hours end on end.

    I feel a slight tingle against my cheek,

    Soon after the taste of sad salt is against my teeth.

    My hands pressed as hard as they can to my face.

    Hoping I don’t break.

    Praying to something I don’t even believe in

    to come save the day.

    Repeating over and over again the same begs.

    Begs of mercy.

    Words for help.

    Please.

    Are you listening to me?

    Can you see my glistening eyes?

    Just asking to be held and cared for,

    for as, I’d promise anyone genuine

    enough to protect me I’d give my life
