Dedication
To anyone who’s had their soul exposed to the reposed. Peace be with you. We lift up our hearts. It is right to give thanks and praise. There are two folks that inspired me to deliver one more of these poemplanations; that would be John Muir and Teddy Roosevelt. I hope you’re hanging out with Mother Nature with a new stir taking part in all her grand rapture.
Acknowledgements
I acknowledge after 303 poemplanations to provide my Lithuanian brain a rest.
To my family and friends, love long and hard.
Map of Lithuania and my coat of arms.
Also serves as an x-ray image of my soul at the redivivus.
Introduction
Yikes, it’s that time again. Let’s get on our Wright brothers’ bicycle and hit the trail. There’s so much out there, don’t be afraid to fail. There’s somethin’ left in the human heart not quite right. That’s why our sin comes from deep within. It can destroy us if we let it. Don’t let Satan develop you as he sees fit.
If it weren’t for sports, I’d be dead for tryin’ to figure out life. I’m not goin’ there, so you better beware. You can’t burn a circle into a square and you can’t turn a truth into a dare.
This is the omega book in the poemplanation trilogy series written for the most part in 2008 and 2009. There was a lot of blues in the news regarding economic turmoil. A new president was comin’ to town to see if he could outwit Bozo the clown. More than anything, this period to me represented cycles. Cycles of life, birth, death and rebirth. It was a theme, it was more than a dream, forgive me if time makes you scream.
Poetry is for lovers and those who need a release. If you deny the blues you’ll become the bad news. That’s why we all need a place we call our home. It could be on a country farm or in a city astrodome. It could be in outer space or livin’ with another race.
Everything becomes relative, even the time and space in which you live. I needed to sculpt a statue and free it from the marble. I dreamed of becoming an abecedarian and creating poemplanations from the alphabet. Twenty-six letters later I had the world at my fingertips. I’ve reached the point in life where I don’t kill bees that fly into the house. I grab a glass, steer them inside the mug and set them free. My pumpkin patch flowers thank me with all their pollen. I wish I could say the same for the pesky fly and the squeaky mouse.
Some say a man without discipline is no man. I say a man without discipline is a jellyfish in a frying pan. Don’t always believe what you think. If you do, you might end up in the brink.
Pay attention to your heroes and the number zero. Faith will come and go but sooner or later you’ll seek a rainbow. It could be watchin’ Ol’ Faithful blowin’ off some leaks or readin’ about Abraham Lincoln with tears flowin’ down your cheeks. Your emotions control your standing in the world. You can play it cool or drool every time you see a Hollywood fool. Elvis purchased a Harley every year; it was his passion for the Hog that transferred to me and my dog.
I failed to recognize I had to stabilize the paralyzed in a world of half-truths and innuendos. I suppose that’s alright if you belong to the communist party. That’s when Olga became a commodity, a three-tier oddity.
I am quiescent in my natural state. I don’t need to voice an opinion to be happy. I don’t need to build myself up to feel good. I’m happy in my neighborhood. I’m content sitting on the front porch observing the heron and listening to the mockingbird.
Poems are a window to your soul. They are a checkpoint to see if you have any senses left. Sum people have one; sum have five. Sum people are breathing but not really alive. Sum are a queen bee with 10,000 working bees building the hive.
You ever wonder about magic carpets and how many universes are spinning around out there? There’s a galaxy for every star you see. Dimensions have a way with spinning my mind. One day I’m gonna enter that portal and look for the missing link. Quantum mechanics and gravity need someone to make them happy at the supper table. I need a bowl of graviton soup and let my dreams fly the chicken coup.
Gravity and Space-Time floated into another membrane one day. Gravity asked Space-Time if they cared if he split them in two. Space-Time said no way, they were cosmically connected in this dimension and that would cause too much contention.
I think I’m
