Dragon Emotions
dragon-154565_640.pngExhilaration
I am ecstatic, firework ecstatic, when I formulate a poem or a story for entertainment, and all of the flawless vocabulary just comes to me like a gargantuan magnet that allures metallic objects, and I sense the avalanche of sensory imagery submerge my mind like a tumultuous ocean engulfing a ship throughout an uncivilized rainstorm, and the similes and metaphors are a savage infantry that infringe the voice which ventilates, You are inadequate!
And when my opus is accomplished, I am a mirthful, bee-lining river of notions, brainstorms, and illusions.
When I perceive
A chronicle concerning my commendatory
VIPs in the heart of a magazine,
Or if I behold them on TV,
If I take heed to their ventilations,
I sense ecstasy.
37301.pngI long to gallivant across the surface
Of the earth,
Frolic through the countryside
And open fields,
Navigate a mountain, sail the seven seas.
Experience nature, venture out beyond the horizon.
My yearning.
37304.pngSummer.
Shopping, road trips.
School’s out; beach, anyone???
Cook-outs, parties, romantic nights.
Sleep time
37308.pngAs I leaf through the sheets
Of a novel, I am consigned
To outlying regions and
Fictitious sites, ones that are arbitrarily
Discovered in one’s philanthropy, insight, and
CONSCIENCE.
