Shadows
This family of shadows,
that we might have been.
Comes to a close and never shed a tear,
we will always remember you,
for all that you hold dear.
I do not see your terror,
the way that you see mine.
It cuts me up in pieces,
disguised as the sublime.
Under the stair you’ll place me,
forgotten in the dark.
But I won’t stop my calling,
hoping for a spark,
of humanity to come from your ears.
You hear, you hear.
We all know what happens when you hear.

My life started with your life,
came to an end with a bang.
My heart leaps amongst roses,
of men who are posing
