About this ebook
Entity is a screenplay, not a novel, but it is still a story and is in a less strict format than a screenplay is intended to be, so that it is easier to read and understand. It tells how Bobby and the entity, Izzy, came to meet. Entity is part of a series I have created.
If you are a gearhead on any level, or enjoy stories with an alien or supernatural theme, then you will likely enjoy this story.
I write stories that I would like to see as movies. I hope you will enjoy this story as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thank you for taking the time to view this page.

Special thanks to my amazing friend Bruce LeMaster for helping me in all of the ways that he has. You are an awesome person. Thank you.
Thank you to all of the people I learned things about regarding cars. I am a gearhead and have loved cars ever since I was a little kid. I thank the people who I knew personally, and I also thank those for creating shows I have been able to see that involve working on cars and other things related to cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. You have helped me to have the knowledge I have about cars, and I am grateful for that. I hope that this can inspire someone in some way to love cars also.

Chapter 1
SC.1 EXT. JUNKYARD - DAY
Multiple shots of junkyard are shown. Sign saying GUARD DOG is shown. Next to it is a dog sleeping. It is a nice day.
Bobby Jamison is cutting something off a junk car. He turns the torch off, puts it back on the tow truck, puts the parts on the back of the truck, gets in and drives through the junkyard to the front office.
Bobby drives between two buildings and stops in the gravel lot where customers park. He gets out, walks through an open garage door and enters the office. J.R. Edwards, his boss and owner of the junkyard, is at his desk. A customer is sitting in a chair against one wall.
Bobby: Got the parts he wanted.
Customer: Thanks.
Bobby: No problem.
J.R.: Go ahead and put the stuff in the back of his truck and come back.
Bobby: Okay.
Bobby walks out of the office.
Cut to Bobby entering the office a few minutes later.
Bobby: What's up?
J.R.: Need you to pick up a car.
J.R. holds out a piece of paper. Bobby takes it and looks at it.
J.R.: Got a call from someone wants to get rid of a car. Take the flatbed and go get it.
Bobby: Okay.
Bobby puts the piece of paper in his pocket. J.R. tosses him the keys to the flatbed.
J.R.: Stop and grab some subs or something on your way back. I'll pay you back for mine, so remember to get the receipt.
Bobby: Sure thing.
J.R. taps his watch.
J.R.: Daylight's burnin'. Last time I checked I wasn't payin' you to stand around.
Bobby looks at his watch.
Bobby: Been all of about five seconds since you gave me that address and told me what you wanted me to do. I'm goin', so don't get all weird on me, old dude.
J.R.: Stop being a pain in the ass and go get the car.
Bobby laughs and walks out of the office.
Bobby: Later.
J.R.: Later.
SC.2 EXT. HOME - DAY
Bobby pulls in the driveway, stops, gets out and walks to the front door. He looks at an older car in the driveway that has seen better days. He knocks on the door. Ten seconds pass and the door opens. A woman is standing there.
Woman: Yes?
Bobby: Hi. My name's Bobby. I'm from J.R.'s Salvage Yard. Here to pick up a car.
Woman: Oh, okay. Right. It's over there in the driveway.
Bobby: I thought that might be the car. I need the keys and the title.
Woman: Sure. I have them right here.
She hands them to Bobby. He hands her a check that had been folded up with the paper J.R. wrote her address on.
Bobby: Thanks. Here's your check.
She takes the check.
Woman: Alright. Thank you.
Bobby: No problem. I'll go ahead and get it up on the truck and get it outta here.
Woman: "Thanks. It's just an eyesore now, really. It's my daughter's. She got a newer car, thankfully.
I was always afraid that car would break down on her or something. It just stopped running one day right here in the driveway. I'm just glad that it did that here and not while she was on the road or somewhere else."
Bobby: "That happens sometimes. I can't tell you how many cars we've got like that at the yard.
That does happen with newer cars also, but not as often. It's usually something minor and can be fixed easily. Nothing really serious to worry about."
Woman: Yeah, I know. She spent a fair amount of money fixing things on that one. I'm just glad she has a better one now.
Bobby: It does make you feel better. No doubt about that. Well, I'm gonna get this done and get going. Have a good day.
Woman: You too. Thanks.
She shuts the door and Bobby walks over to the flatbed.
Cut to Bobby securing the car to the flatbed. He gets in the truck, pulls out onto the street and drives away.
Various shots are shown of traffic, homes, parked cars, etc. Some shots of Bobby driving are shown.
Bobby stops at a fast food restaurant.
Cut to Bobby walking out of the restaurant and getting in the truck and driving away.
SC.3 EXT. JUNKYARD - DAY
Bobby pulls into the junkyard, parks and gets out.
Cut to Bobby entering the office.
Bobby: I'm back.
J.R.: I know. Saw you pull in.
Bobby sets the bag of sub sandwiches, car keys and title on J.R.'s desk, then sits down.
Bobby: Can't slip nothin' past the mighty and all-knowing J.R.
J.R.: Dumbass.
Bobby laughs and gets a sub out of the bag and takes a bite of it.
Bobby: "Of course, you get distracted easily, so I could get away with a lot of stuff if I wanted
to. You're like a cat that likes shiny objects."
J.R. looks at Bobby for a moment.
J.R.: You know, I can find someone to replace you. Lot of guys would like your job.
Bobby: Yeah, I know. You won't fire me though.
J.R.: You seem pretty confident. How you figure that?
Bobby smiles.
Bobby: Cause you like me. I'm the son you wish you would've had.
J.R. gets a sub out of the bag.
J.R.: "I don't like you that much. And, I got enough problems already without wanting a kid like you. Kids like you give guys like
