One stop shop Bob

“I love welding, fabricating. I like painting, even trimming. I just like doing everything about it, and I like to say I’ve done it myself, if I can.” That was Bob Hasler’s response to my question about what part of building this truck he enjoyed the most.

We’ve said it before, but we’re always impressed by anyone who paints their own car. It’s hard graft, makes a hell of a mess and it’s very easy to make mistakes. But in for a penny, in for a pound, having painted his Willys sedan (see CC September ’17) in a more forgiving grey, Bob decided if he was going to do this one, he’d really test himself and do it straight black. Brave man.
