About this ebook
The work of collecting children's dialogue that I started in 2013 has come to this day. Approximately 1,200 interesting, cute, sometimes funny, sometimes sad, instructive, imaginative and amusing children's dialogues have been compiled. They have been made into a book for wider sharing. They may be a source of inspiration for some future works. They can be presented in movies, cartoons, or in children's stories and novels. They may provide the basis for the collection of more children's dialogues and creation of a new and wider space.

PREFACE
Have you ever wondered how old parents are? Aren’t they only as old as a child, since they became a parent once they had a child?
Have you ever wondered how a child can imagine buying anything once they grow up including Burak, the horse like creature that took the Holy Prophet from Jerusalem to Makkah, in a blink of an eye?
Little children have imaginations that can run wild and bring about an abundance of innocent humor.
I remember when my children were little and went through the cutest phase of asking questions, innocent on their part, but which I used to find quite amusing. I don't know how the years passed but sometimes I reminisce on those wholesome days. Children have curious minds and sometimes they see the world in quite a literal way. Those moments pass by so quickly so what better way to memorialize them than to capture those moments by recording them.
I was honoured to have been asked by Ali Akkız to write the preface to Kiddish. I recall when I met him a few years ago he showed me his collection of jokes and spoke with so much enthusiasm and passion about it. He rightly believes that humour is important in life and good for health. As someone once said, ‘Life is so much easier with a sense of humour." Maybe this explains why children are so at ease and contented.
‘Kiddish’ captures the innocence of children and their understanding of how the world works around them. Children ask and answer some of their own questions bringing in humor without even realizing. It is so natural to them. A lot of times, these thought processes aren’t recorded and are lost. The author has done a great job of compiling light-hearted innocent jokes from children of all ages.
Enjoy this collection that focuses on what is central to children’s lives and encourages their curiosity. This book can be read by children and adults alike, and it’s a great way to stay connected and see the world through a child’s eyes.
Ask a child about life and learn from them…

INTRODUCTION
Many have heard of the story of the Naked King: Two crooks present themselves as tailors to a king to earn money. They claim to be the most world class expert tailors able to stitch a dress for the king that no one has ever seen or known. The king gives them advance payment and asks them to get the dress ready for next feast day around the corner.
The dishonest tailors pretend to sew the dress; when in fact there is nothing of that kind. They also pretend to fit the unseen dress on the king, who, in order to avoid looking stupid, acts as if he is wearing a dress. His ministers don’t want to admit that they cannot see the ‘clothes’. They don’t want to look stupid.
