Depth of Randomness - Roland Velasquez
Perfect
The illusion so many strive for
Lives in the free
Where a Standard is a Joke passed down
For the Flaws are what Shine
Giving depth to an unknown
For one must see
All that could be
To step within the light
Seeing worlds that one person
Can create
With a break within the shadows
Transforming that small light
Into Beacons
Guiding others
Into the unknown
Of the self
Changing so many worlds
By loving your own
Knight
Sometimes it isn’t the stand
But the bow
That makes the difference
For there are moments
When patience reigns
Where sacrifice
Is the key
Changing the path of any kingdom
With a single step
Lighthouse
Devouring the darkness in my wake
Letting the light shine
My sacrifice
Worth the few
That can’t find steps
Dancing within heaven grasps
Becoming the beacon
That time cannot hold
Filling the darkness
With the light that cannot be undone
Changing the path of what must be
To what could be
Sacrifice the whole
For the pace that shakes time itself
A beacon no matter the time
Is a Soul On Fire
The Bard: Pure Heart
Oof, my apologies, I’m late, Do you hear, was that the last chime. Come, Come let me buy you a drink, for knocking you off course, perhaps you’ll stay, There are many tales to be woven. Come, come.
My apologies to all, let me repay your patience, with a tale woven of love. Take your time to settle, while refreshments are gathered.
Upon many travels, many have inspired, so many untold stories. On many occasion, the choice of which to weave, can be all-consuming,
Yet here, Upon this day, No other could be told, but Of a heart that is pure. One so strong a mountain could never crush.
Long ago did this tale begin to weave, so long, many moons are too simple. A boy emerges from the darkest beginnings.
Never once did it blemish or scar that heart. Never was innocent blamed, never did hate has its turn. Seasons come and go, growth takes its form.
From the start never did they hesitate. A point was had, that a river would yield for. An ass would be easier moved.
Now whether it was handled right is a different question. For we must make mistakes to grow. Never has anyone that has walked this Earth know all.
The key is to be open. While a point was had, an inquisitive mind always looks for more. A point is useless if it is not understood.
Not just seeing all sides, but feeling. Put the self in the shoes of another, not walking a mile, but a life. A view must be complete if one is to truly see.
A child becomes extremely knowledgeable and wise upon the journey of growth. Changing views wherever the path should lead.
Should any be in need, this heart could mend. Giving all as if it was the last. Big or small, of the self or land, any adversity would be overturned.
One good deed can change the tide, yet here one has become a gift from the gods. Changing all that comes across. What most would see as a sacrifice, is given without thought.
One being echoing within a land, spreads like a fire. Inspiring a movement, a movement of depth. Angering all who is to be noble. Making it harder to line that coin.
Deep pocket love to be filled. Corruption unravels, showing how greed, rules the weak, that cannot stand when all are one.
All learn lessons, gather are the nobles. Seeking a cure to their plight. A plan of the most dishonorable is set in motion.
Upon the border, is one capture. Taken to the capital, for a heinous crime. That all knew was a fabrication. Villages from towns, all that was passed through, sent words of fire.
Branching out, that even as a trail was being heard, more and more flooded in. Outrage was heard, from land to land.
From servants, to landowners, to chiefs, to rulers set in motion. So much uproar, that the ruler had no choice but to notice.
Is one being worth a war, from many outsides, and even more within. When the story unfolds, all can see. Which brought swift justice. Many heads rolled, but not that heart.
That heart shined so bright, that all took a stand. Making a peasant into an advisor. Changing all that had broken, into a world where we can all live.
Being the voice we all never knew we needed. Ending the chaos, that all suffered from. Being a beacon, that warms all. How one deed can the tide, how many creates a wave. Changing the landscape for all to see.
So Many Fear The Trials
So many fear the trials
Alone for an uncertain amount of time
So scared to be the lonely
Fighting the dark
Yet this is where the light waits for the brave
Willing to risk
For something greater than the self
Finding the strength that can not be broken
If one must be caged
Why not for the heart
That knows no bounds
Willing to risk the unknown
Transforming
Into more that is seen as human
The Modern World Makes One Take Stop
The modern world makes one take stop
Making one think of the search
Facing the self
Preparing for battle
For if you face the self
Preparing for the battle of the world
The world falls easily
For the world cannot face the shadows
For once the self is beaten
The light will overshadow
All doubts to come
No Matter The Dimension
No matter the land, dimension,
Time or development of creatures
Certain things transcend time
Dark or light
Leaves an imprint
That all ages can feel
Sometimes a need for both
Echoes throughout time
For a moment worthwhile
Changing all that surrounds
For a love born within the mist
Inspiring others
Creating a current
Of the unknown ocean
Giving hope across the land
No Matter How I Run
No matter how I run
The darkness tends to engulf
Takes all in its wake
Yet love stands
Breathing life into the dark
For one can not be without the other
Making one cherish
For the light can not be without a shadow
Making One See the Reason
Within the Chaos
Stopping the tracks
Once Moments fly away
Now embraced
Becoming whole
Making each step count
People Fight Love
Nothing matters but the heart
Humans so silly that colors matter
Gender, Gods,
A list that can forever go on
Wouldn’t you rather
Dance within the stars
Love is far more powerful
Then the minds of the small
Be excited for the battle
Nothing is more powerful than love
The battle worth the while
Trials abound
Yet hands stay bound together
For fear can’t trump
Hope that leads to a future
Worth it all and so much more
If one can just give In
To the heart
That beats within
Stars
Lightyears away
We move as one
Crossing the despair of space
Just for that moment
Where we come together
As one
Creating such an energy
Cascading the surrounding planets
To rain iron
for our fire
Can not
Be contained
When we are one
The universe
