Meditations in a Time of Crisis

About this ebook
This book is a remarkable compilation of memories and musings on death, life and the universe put in a poetic and alternately prosaic style. It masterfully depicts what every individual may go through in life in three main phases: emotional aridity, craving revival, and finally attaining a form of resurrection or rising. It thus specifically addresses those souls who at times feel bad about themselves, yet remain confident, those who feel weak and helpless, yet remain strong, those who see the world not only as an arid land, but also as a fertile one.

About the author
FALLING
Gloomy Earth
Soaring in the sky,
Free from the restraints of human life;
I saw a dreaded sight
In the gloomy earth,
I saw and saw darkened spots,
With grudge and hate of all sorts.
Soaring in the sky,
I met a friend with whom I had so much love;
I saw and saw but cunning I found.
I see nothing but darkness,
The breeze of cold nights
Penetrates my feeble body,
Running swiftly through my nerves.
I am as if I am not,
A very faint light I try to reach
But in vain.
A Faint Light
In the stillness of nights,
A faint light penetrates
Particles in the air.
All living creatures are
Awfully in great joy,
Unaware of the occurrences in
