Imeje Fidelis is a Historian cum Diplomat, an Author, and composer. He holds a bachelor of Arts Degree ( Second Class Upper Division) in History and International Studies, University of Calabar. Without an established reading culture in a child, the pursuit of knowledge of any sort becomes difficult and near impossible.  

To such a child, the word ‘potentiality’ is meaningless and the creativity of his contemporary is strange.

Our children are potential leaders on whose shoulders rest the responsibility of making our dear Nation State great in the near future.

To achieve this dream, parents and teachers alike should encourage and help children form lasting reading culture through reading storybooks and other related works of literature.

Furthermore, the advancement of any society today may be influenced by the established reading culture of its citizenry which the children are an integral part of.
