His wife passed on six months ago and Sandra left home for college one month later, she was advanced in age but determined to go to college, she was the friend of Robert’s wife. Sandra took Robert’s home as her home because of the bond that exist between them.

Robert was already advanced in age more than Sandra, though she was also advanced it didn't affect their friendship but it waxed stronger, the bond between them is really stronger than anything one could think of.
