It is the incident of four months ago from today. That day, almost all the sky was full of black and deep clouds. It was about 4 o’clock in the evening. The lighting flashed very badly and sounded a lot and it was pouring heavily.
I was in the kitchen and made snacks and coffee whether my husband was sitting in a chair lying in the garden under a shed. There was his diary and an opened pen on the table which was lying in front of him. He had newspaper in his hands. He liked the rain very much and enjoyed that about every time.
Sonu, Sonu, when are you coming?
He asked in affection.
Just coming,
I replied in the same tone.
After sometime I came out of the kitchen with a tray that contained a plateful of hot snacks, some souses, and two mugs of hot coffee.
I put the tray on the table and also sat there on a chair besides him. However I didn’t like rain but that time I pretended to enjoy that. We both just started chatting with each other and taking the eatables suddenly his phone rang. It was his colleague’s phone. He stood up and walked towards the other corner of the shed.
Take your mug at least.....
I offered him. I knew that he had to engage with that call for a long.
Wait..... I am just coming. It’s an urgent call.
he replied eagerly. There he was chatting with his friend and here I was waiting for his coming at the table.
In the meantime suddenly a light flashed and attracted my consciousness towards sky. Watching that flash I got lost into the past memories just about one and half month before. I had not got married at that time.
The same type of season was also on that day. I clearly remembered that time when my brother came at our home in the afternoon eagerly and said to our father,
Today, my friend Raman came in our shop and suggested me a good marriage proposal for Sonu.
Where is the boy from?
father questioned immediately.
He is from Rampur near Patiala.
my brother replied.
His name is Sudhir and he is a teacher at a private school and gets a good salary.
My brother added before asking any other query from my father.
It looked better.
father said to my brother with a sign of satisfaction.
After getting more information about him and his family within two days my father and my brother reported him okay.
At that time, what parents decided we accepted that happily. However I did my graduation in Science from a famous university. So I had dreamt to marry to a Science scholar. But the boy was a graduate of Arts.
I believed that if someone was a scholar of Science only then he could think about something logically. I also got proud to be such a Science scholar.
But after marriage, I felt
