About this ebook

It was insane. My life had been going crazy and there wasn’t much that I could do about it. I was trying to find a job to use my degree. It hadn’t been easy and I had been forced to move back in with my family.

But my mother didn’t live in a place that had a lot of work for people with chemistry degrees. But I wasn’t giving it up. I kept trying. And I finally got myself a callback. A job. Finally. And the interview was shocking. The men that I was going to be working with were beyond hot. Ted and Devlin. Two men with doctorates and the hots of underwear models. It was like heaven in a lab.

My first days on the job were pretty smooth, actually, except for a small accident that got me affected by the product that we were working on. And working with these guys wasn’t making that experience any easier, but somehow I managed to be professional, at least at first.

    Chapter 1:

    Chapter Name

A degree in Chemistry, but it was so hard to get a job. It may have had something to do with the fact that I didn’t have a lot of experience dealing with the scientific community outside of academia. My family consisted of all low-income workers on the wrong side of the tracks before I had managed to get a scholarship to college.

Maybe I should have hired someone to help me fix my resume. There had to be something that I could do about this. Something to catch some attention to my CV, but there wasn’t much that I could do. I stared at the computer screen and pondered how much it would cost to have professional services to get it done. Probably a couple of hundred dollars at least. Maybe I could find someone on the internet who would do it for five bucks.

I shook my head. That wasn’t an option. I would just have to tweak it again and send it out in batches once again, try to find myself a job. I was tired of working the same dead-end job that managed to keep me fed during college, even as I was living in an apartment that had the rent paid through grants from the government that helped her go to school. None of this had been easy, but she had managed to make it by going to a state school that offered her free money and some low income. I needed to find something. And soon. Or all the work I had made might just go down the drain.

I shook my head. I couldn’t let myself start thinking like that. I had
