The Learning Unit
The purpose of this book is help you gain knowledge while reading and entertaining yourself. Every short story or dialogue is unique and thought to provide vocabulary and grammatical structures through natural conversations, normal situations and everyday settings at a beginner level.
These short stories, dialogues, or readings have been written for you to:
Read in a relaxed way and have fun while improving your Spanish and general knowledge.
Make the most of your reading and comprehension process by using a vocabulary list that includes some relevant or new vocabulary and phrases. This vocabulary is bolded in the text and included in a list at the end of each reading with its meaning in English.
Test your level of knowledge and comprehension through a variety of questions. The answers to all the exercises are given together with a translation of the reading into English to facilitate comprehension for the most beginners of the beginners☺.
As you see, the learning unit is simple, practical and interesting, as well as the topics.
You will probably see verbs that you have already used but conjugated in an unfamiliar form. Focus on how the verb is presented in that sentence and context. If it is bolded in the reading, it will appear in the list of vocabulary with the basic verb form in parenthesis to help you better understand and interpret it.
