About this ebook

Human behaviour, and the environmental influences on the behavioural responses, can be described as complex dynamical processes.

The purpose of this book is to simplify, or in other words, taking a reductionist approach to explain certain aspects that induce behavioural influences associated to dynamical power symmetry – asymmetry, dyads, social adroitness, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and human sexual behavioural dynamics.

Even though applying a deterministic approach to describe top-down, and bottom-up influences, is beyond challenging, due to the large number of variables, this book intends to do just that.

This book argues that, even though the human adaptation contains certain complexities associated with uncertainty that influence the predictability of the behaviour, that there is an optimal adaptive strategy, with higher certainty in predetermined behavioural responses, based on survival and reproductive prioritisation.

Accordingly, this book identifies, or suggests certain predetermined, or highly certain behavioural responses, in order to satisfy primitive primal motives which influence the emergence of power dynamics, and power asymmetry, without the need of the consideration of complexity factors.

More precisely, even though reductionism with regards to complex behaviour will most likely fail to provide a generalised formula which contains and focuses on specific behavioural elements, the only concern about the description of adaptive optimum is associated with human cooperative success.

For example, dominant and submissive positions, associated respectively to both, such as social and mating hierarchy, as well as the combination of the two, is subject to power asymmetry in association to dyads, and reinforces natural emergence which influence behavioural dynamics in each case respectively.

The significance of prioritisation, influence and subsequently highlight the distinction behind power asymmetry and power distribution corresponding to survival and reproduction, respectively.

Consequently, the book’s primary focus is to describe the dynamical influences based on distinct categories, by relying on primary factors of human motivation, namely: survival and reproduction; while considering intellect, social influences and different forms of communications as slaves, or secondary functions, that seek to satisfy primary primal motives.

Beyond that is the application of the same concepts with regards to mating, and human sexual behavior between its male and female counterparts.

As a result, this book targets readers from both academic and non-academic interests, who want to understand human behavioural dynamics, maintain optimal satisfaction in various types of relationships, or correct or modify relationship dynamics. By Influencing the above factors, one can elevate or increase one’s relationship and success rate.
