Huh, he thought. Kory had tinkered around with Swap Mate before—once to switch his dog’s and cat’s heads around just for the hell of it. Leroy, his cat, oblivious to being a dog from the neck down, had leapt onto a shelf and broke it, destroying a vase in the process.
