    Introduction

    In order to achieve Zen, one must have a high level of self-restraint. It requires a deep perspective into the nature of life, giving peace and clarity to the individual who practices.

    You don’t have to go to an ancient Chinese school in order to achieve this common Buddhist practice. By dedicating moments of solitude in your very own home, you can begin to achieve peace.

    We have four guided meditations that will enable you to clear your mind and relieve some built-up stress. We will begin with a beginner’s Zazen meditation, allowing you to understand what it means to achieve this peaceful state.

    The second meditation will help diminish some added stress, making it easier to focus and concentrate throughout your daily practices. We also have a meditation to open your mind to make it easier to come up with new ideas and find mental clarity.

    Finally, we will end with an anxiety-reducing practice to help you achieve harmony overall. The best way to do these meditations is when you are home in a protected place, never when you are driving or operating a motor vehicle. Keep your mind open and focus on relieving stress and achieving peace.
