About this ebook
Join the author as he recounts his fascinating life. A risk taker, entrepreneur, steadfast banker, blackjack dealer and a solid government bureaucrat. The careers zig and zag. As a young man, he works with his father as a true American cowboy in Texas. In fact, on a trip to Los Angeles to visit family, he is repeatedly mistaken for a famous actor and asked for his autograph. As a Las Vegas blackjack dealer, we find him meeting one celebrity after another. Most are seeking to maintain anonymity and he uses his charisma and humor to ensure they have a quiet, uninterrupted time at his table.

Tom West lives in east central Oklahoma. He retired from the casino business in 2009. After 20 years of living in the fast lane in Las Vegas Nevada, he calls the country his home and thoroughly enjoys it. Tom started writing about his life experiences, although not diligently, shortly after retiring. It started as his history to pass onto his family. From his early days in Southwestern Oklahoma where he was born during World War II, to his retirement years, he has written about the many things he has done and seen, and the numerous people he has met along the way. Those who heard him talk about his life over the years have told him you are a very interesting person and you should write a book. One such person was Dr. A.W. Sibley, an author himself. He is the one who suggested the title for Tom’s book “The most interesting person you have never met.” Tom also has co-authored a book for the US Government published by the Washington National Press. And, he wrote a speech for a US Senator given to a joint session of Congress for which Tom received a Congressional Commendation signed by the then President. Married for 39 years, Tom and his wife have a very active life style with a bass boat, motorcycle, and roadster sports car. And of course, lots of traveling. Now at 75-years-old, Tom has finished telling his story for all to enjoy. He states “my life has and is still interesting and exciting every day.”
