Final wish

Walking into the local Wetherspoons, in Rushden, I felt nervous, but I tried my best to hide it.

‘Hi, I’m Roger from Plenty of Fish,’ I said to the beautiful smiling woman in front of me.

‘I’m Kat!’ she said back.

Chatting away for a couple of hours, it was clear we had lots in common.

After discovering both of us had nothing to do on Valentine’s Day, we decided to meet up for a cinema date.

But it wasn’t a typical romantic movie.

‘Two tickets for Die Hard 4 please,’ I asked.

We both loved action films!

At the end of the date, we said goodbye in the car park and had our first kiss – it felt like it was meant to be.

As time went on we discovered more things we had
