About this ebook
When Sammy & Tommy were born, Agnes & Eric knew they had their hands full. Agnes is a sea serpent and Eric is a fire breathing dragon so their offspring are half sea serpent and half dragon with wings. After surviving a kidnap attempt by a big game hunter and his band of poachers, everyone wanted the bad men punished for their crimes. However, no one wanted the world to know about the uncharted island or the unique creatures that lived there. That’s why they devised a plan. The research team would charge the men with the attempted theft of a priceless artifact from their floating lab. The village priestess and healer, Louela, concocted a potion that erased the men’s memories of the island. With no memory of what actually happened, they were able to convince the men they were guilty of trying to steal a priceless artifact.
In South Carolina a woman named Skylar was going through some old shoe boxes she found when she learned that the couple that raised her was actually her aunt and uncle. Included in one of the shoeboxes were newspaper clippings of her real parents and how they died in a car accident. There was also her real birth certificate and one for a twin brother named Clarence. Grabbing the newspaper to confirm her suspicions, she realized that her twin brother was actually the big game hunter who was on trial for theft and piracy. With the possibility that her brother would get a life sentence for piracy, she was the only relative left to inherit the huge plantation left behind by her aunt and uncle.

DEDICATION
This book is dedicated to the friends and family members who have been called home to be with God. While they were here, they inspired me to be the best I could be. They may be gone but they are not forgotten. May they all RIP.
Acknowledgments
I wish to acknowledge the work of Gary Finelli who made a lot of the sketches used for the illustrations in this book. Those sketches are combined in Photoshop with original art by Elayne Shore, clipart and images downloaded from internet websites like freeimages.com. Some of the original art in these illustrations was inspired by another fantastic artist Aaron Blaise who worked at the Disney studios before starting his own online animation classes. I also want to thank Jeseka Price, a social media consultant, who has agreed to help me promote my books.
Prologue
I took my bath, brushed my teeth, said my prayers, and got my pajamas on,
Becky said. Will you tell me what happened to Sammy and Agnes please daddy?
Who are Sammy and Agnes,
her father asked thoughtfully.
Don’t be silly daddy,
Becky laughed. Sammy is a sea serpent and Agnes is her mother. You know that already. Will Sammy be okay? Is her mother going to get better?
Oh that,
he said laughing. I just wanted to see if you knew who they were.
Of course I know who they are,
Becky frowned. Will you tell me what happened to Sammy and her mother? I’m all ready for bed.
Crawl under the covers and I will tell you what happened,
her father laughed. First of all do you remember what happened to Sammy?
Yes, daddy
she replied. That mean man tried to kidnap Sammy and shot her with something to make her sleep. Her daddy rescued her and took her to their cave. She woke up with a really bad headache and John didn’t want to give her anything for her headache because he is not that kind of doctor.
That’s right,
he answered. John is just a research scientist and he didn’t want to make Sammy sick by giving her something for pain. That’s why he made her lay down with a wet towel on her eyes. One of the local natives brought Sammy some special tea to make her feel better.
Did her headache go away?
Becky asked.
Not right away,
her father answered. "It did get better after a while though. John decided to run some tests on Sammy to see what medicine he could give her without making her sick. He also decided to run some tests on Agnes because she was really sick. He suspected it had a lot to do with the fact
