      For the second morning in a row, Liz's first sight was Brisa. She wouldn't have it any other way. Though she'd only known the waitress for a few days now, there was a bond between them that would take a lot to break. It all was so hard to believe. If someone had told Liz two weeks ago what was going to happen to her, she'd never believed them. She'd even be terrified of it coming true. But now? Now, it all made sense. And she was more than ready for the next step, especially with Brisa at her side.

      The waitress woke up while Liz was thinking, and the two smiled at each other and said good morning.

      So what's on deck for the big famous pop star? Brisa asked.

      Oh, not much. I just have to attend an award show where I'm performing and am nominated for four awards, Liz joked.

      Liz's girlfriend laughed. Just everyday stuff, I guess?

      Something like that. Speaking of the awards show, I need a date for the red carpet...
