About this ebook
Bridget was a proud individual, which some would call fierce and independent. She ran an antique store with her husband, and it had become successful, in that they were making a profit. The lease was up for renewal, and a loan would be needed to continue the business. At least that was something they had anticipated, and could deal with. What happened next was a surprise, and would turn into a disaster, for Bob, her husband. Though maybe not.
It was a quiet Wednesday as usual, and Bridget took the opportunity to check the stock. She was wondering around the store looking at things, as though she were a customer, trying to get there perspective. Adjusting the odd item, to present it to its best, she moved on.
A customer had wondered in and began chatting to her husband. Flippantly, Bob said the usual, everything is on sale, and available at a fair price. The handsome young man noticed the attractive woman, and asked how much the item was. Bob frowned, then joined in the joke, When his wife glided up to them, he continued the amusing sales talk, getting back at his wife for an earlier argument.
The young man complimented her looks, embarrassing her, though she was less pleased with her husband. She realised they were negotiating her price, and gave her husband fierce looks, yet said nothing. The men agreed a price, and as a joke shook hands. Bridget was appalled that her husband could do such a thing.
Taking the young arm she marched out the store with him, as though agreeing with her purchase. Wanting to upset her husband, she got into the guy's expensive sports car, to be driven around the block, then returned. They pulled into a gravel driveway up to an expensive Georgian house, and she became worried, even a little scared, but didn't show it.
Ushered into his house, he asked her to decorate ii, with furniture from the store, as the place had just been bought and was empty. It was a blank canvas for her to fill with antiques, so how could she refuse. Though he had bought and paid for er, so did he expect her to be an object in his house? She told herself not to be silly, that people couldn't be bought, as slavery was illegal. There was a certain glint in his eyes, and she couldn't help responding to it. She was horny and in the circumstances it was dangerous, yet she couldn't just walk away, not after he'd paid so much money buying her. As soon as her husband arranged for a bank lone, they could pay him back and she would feel much better, able to laugh off this silly feeling of being owned by him.

Reading is a passion, both fiction and non-fiction. Writing is a hobby I've enjoyed for many years, and write anything and everything, though recently I've concentrated on world war 2 stories, science fiction, and erotica. Erotica has been more of a challenge than I thought. First it was realised I didn't know as much as first thought. The range of human sexuality is so wide, and often very particular. The same word or phrase in a story can turn someone on, and someone else off. Some women like a story where the female character is humiliated, in fantasy only, and others think it is terrible. It is very true that you can't satisfy all the people all the of the time, and sometimes only one or two readers will like a theme.A common theme of these stories is where a main character is mistaken for someone else, and continues the error from not wanting to be embarrassed. They may suffer greater humiliation from not correcting the mistake right at the beginning, and letting it spiral out of control. But then, it wouldn't be a story if they did the right thing. It is usual for the main character to grow stronger, get what they really want, or fall in love, in the end. Up until then they blunder around, trying to avoid a confrontation, being silly, and treated as though they are stupid, until the truth is revealed or they find it wasn't an accident, they wanted the situation to develop. Some inner need is revealed, and they grow to endorse it.There are other themes in my writing, but they are for you to discover.Don't forget writing is difficult and painful at times, so buying a book is some small reward to encourage a writer to continue. It is a form of recognition for all the hard work. So, thank you for sponsoring for my art, Gary

Three floors of rooms were crammed with a bewildering array of objects, small and large, with pieces of fine silver up to great lumps of oak furniture.
'Everything is for sale, just let me know if you see anything you like,' the owner said, as usual.
It was an everyday statement, said without much thought. Sebastian looked through an archway at a fine looking, dark haired beauty. Older than he preferred, but with the kind of voluptuous figure a builder couldn’t be blamed for whistling at.
'How much for the dark-haired beauty,' he smiled, meaning to share a joke with the store owner.
The returned look told him he made a mistake. She wasn’t a customer, or if she was, the guy knew her, or perhaps she was his sister, or a lover.
'That piece is expensive. The upkeep is high,' Bob wearily sighed.
‘It’s been here for awhile, so I’d be willing to give you a generous discount if you’ll take it off my hands,’ he belaboured, sounding hard done by.
‘Nice, very nice, I can see why you didn’t let go of such a beautiful piece,’ Sebastian mused.
He turned from his study of her, as she glanced up at him. It looked as though she had been meditating or maybe just daydreaming. They didn’t get a chance to say more as she glided up to them.
A woman has an extra sense of when someone is talking about them, especially men, which she was used to. She looked the young stranger over, and liked what she saw, though she wasn't so blatant as a man to let it show.
‘I wouldn’t buy it if I were you,’ Bob sighed.
'Don’t put the customers off!' Bridget scolded her husband. 'The gentleman looks man enough to make up his own mind. Whatever it is you like the look of, it is for sale, and a discount can be arranged,' she said, adding a wink.
The wink was made to get back at her husband, rather than for the customer's benefit.
Bob now looked as sheepish as Sebastian. They had been caught out making fun of Bridget, which was not a good move. The woman was independent of thought and a fierce believer in women's rights. As Bob knew very well, she was not someone to upset. They looked at each other, sharing a male conspiracy, with knowing looks.
‘Not everything,’ Bob began to say.
‘Everything is for sale, even this,’ she said, and pointed at the dress she was
