Awkward

Amy was at home alone, and starting to panic. She needed help, and her husband wouldn't be home for a few weeks while he was working abroad. Her son had just left to join friends for the summer break, and wouldn't be home for ages. A moan of anguish escaped her lips, and she thought she heard someone clear their throat. Thank god, someone was there to help her! When he asked if she was alright, his voice was recognised as her son's friend. They had been to high school together, and were catching up on old times, as well as comparing college life. They were eighteen, but that was all she could remember about him. He was a neighbours son, a polite young man, and handsome.

She was naked on her bedroom floor, unable to move, and therefore desperate for help. She shouted at him not to come in, but had to relent, however humiliating it would be. She invited him in telling him to keep his eyes shut and not to look at her. He had the decency not to look at her. Not that he would be impressed, for she was an old woman compared to the young things in college. She kept herself fit, and had a good figure, but she felt old and boring. She wanted slow comfortable sex in bed, no longer interested in adolescent sex on the back seat of a guy's car. What in hell was she thinking! Arousal couldn't happen now, not with her son's school friend. What would he think of her, and worse, what would he tell friends, or even his mother, her friend and neighbour?

Erotica has been more of a challenge than I thought. First it was realised I didn't know as much as first thought. The range of human sexuality is so wide, and often very particular. The same word or phrase in a story can turn someone on, and someone else off. Some women like a story where the female character is humiliated, in fantasy only, and others think it is terrible. It is very true that you can't satisfy all the people all the of the time, and sometimes only one or two readers will like a theme.A common theme of these stories is where a main character is mistaken for someone else, and continues the error from not wanting to be embarrassed. They may suffer greater humiliation from not correcting the mistake right at the beginning, and letting it spiral out of control. But then, it wouldn't be a story if they did the right thing.It is usual for the main character to grow stronger, get what they really want, or fall in love, in the end. Up until then they blunder around, trying to avoid a confrontation, being silly, and treated as though they are stupid, until the truth is revealed or they find it wasn't an accident, they wanted the situation to develop. Some inner need is revealed, and they grow to endorse it.There are other themes in my writing, but they are for you to discover.Don't forget writing is difficult and painful at times, so buying a book is some small reward to encourage a writer to continue. 'Brian!' Amy shouted.

'He left early. Can I help?' William asked.

'Don't come in,' she urgently spoke.

'Alright. I'm going now, thanks for letting me stay,' he shouted back.

'Wait! I'm in an awkward position. Brian won't be back from university, and Arnold is working abroad,' she thought out loud.

'I guess so. Are you sure you're alright?' he asked, sounding concerned.

'No, I need help. Oww!' she yelped.

'I'm coming in,' he warned.

He didn't make a move to enter the bedroom, as it was his friend’s mother’s, and it felt awkward. William stayed the night at Brian's, to catch up on their college experiences. Which meant they spent a lot at the pub. He was about to leave and drive back home, when he heard Brian's mother yell. Again she made a noise sounding like she was in pain.

'Alright, come in, but don't look at me,' she hesitantly said.

This was highly embarrassing but what else could she do? With her husband and son away from home, she was stuck without help, and that could be dangerous. How long would she be stuck like this, unable to eat or drink? William was only eighteen, the same age as her son, so this was highly embarrassing.

He couldn't help glancing at her. He quickly turned his head away, to save their embarrassment. She was on the floor, naked! She was attractive when dressed, and at her age he didn't expect her to be so sexy when naked. From the quick look he had, she was voluptuously beautiful. Not fat, but with all the right curves.

He'd always admired her long raven black hair, and her long legs. She wore high heels even in the house, which automatically turned his head. He didn't think she noticed, as a mere boy was of no interest to a beautiful older woman. Besides, she was a married woman, and
