Crystal Dawn

When she’s not out hunting rogue vampires and werewolves, you can find Crystal Dawn out exploring the galaxy. She can do it all without ever leaving her computer. She kicks ass, takes names, and puts it all down for the enjoyment of her readers. At least that’s what I think she told me. Writing came as a natural outlet for her overly creative mind. She has always told stories and even written some but publishing books didn't start until 2012 with The Rebirth, was the first of the Planet Amazon books. Crystal has also been lucky to have some wonderful beta readers who keep her on track and help inspire her.Secretly, she crushes on all her sexy heroes because all her stories end happily. That is one of the things that makes writing such a joy. Knowing that it makes her reader's day a little brighter. Not that she doesn't read sad books sometimes. While still in school, she read Where the Red Fern Grows and cried like a baby. It was a wonderful book and sometimes a bit of sadness has to be put in books because that's part of life. While she reads all kinds of books at some time or another, PNR and SFR, which she writes is what she reads the most for pleasure. When she started writing, she decided on going Indie after the first two books because an author has more control. She believes Indie will compete well and continues to grow. The need to give pleasure to her readers keeps her going and she sees a long career ahead. Growing up mostly in the NW Arkansas area, it has given her a good place to set some stories and many of her characters come from there or nearby SW Missouri. The start of her stories is the easy part. Finishing them is a little harder when all the stories are in there trying to get out. She loves reading, chocolate, fine sweet wine, and traveling among a large list of pursuits. Her favorite people, after her family and close friends, are her readers who she says are some of the most wonderful people in this galaxy and the next.

This is a white wolf story and as such is based on the white wolf series Legend of the White Werewolf.

Legend of the White Werewolf-The Forgotten Ones:

Ariel, a divorced mother of two and a bestselling author, meets Blake at a bar. The two are attracted to each other and eventually come together. Ariel discovers that Blake is a werewolf, and he has turned her into one as well. Blake discovers Ariel is the famous writer that has been publishing accurate werewolf romances and his council has been trying to find her for some time. When Ariel makes the change to wolf, everyone finds out that she is a white wolf, part of the legendary line thought extinct.

Now Ariel’s family may be in danger for their bloodline is sought after by every unmated alpha. Ariel herself is targeted by a group called the forgotten ones who had faded into the background, but now show themselves again hoping to use Ariel or her family to rise to power and eventually rule the world like they always hoped to. As if being targeted by obsessive outcasts from the wolf world isn’t enough, the reason Blake was in her corner of the world was to set up a pack. His brother Drake is their alpha, but the pack has grown too large for the resources available to them where they are. Rather than move the whole pack, they decide to divide into two packs. Half stay with Drake and half go with Blake.

Through the danger, abductions, the stress of starting a new pack, a vicious ex-girlfriend, and all the difficulties of a dramatic change from human to wolf, Blake and Ariel find their love is strong. They build their new pack along with their new relationship letting nothing hold them back.

    Wild White Wolves

    Tanya

Tanya was forced to flee when she overheard a conversation between her boss and a corrupt senator. Will it be the crooks or the Devil the law has chasing her that gets her first? She's a white wolf and he's a supernatural so this can only end in chaos!

    The Devil She Loves

Tanya has seen the relationship with Devil going nowhere but she stayed for a while just to be sure. Once she was, she left and tried not to look back.

Devil came home wanting nothing more than to spend time with Tanya. The problem was, she was gone. He was slow to realize what she meant to him but now that he has, he would tear up the universe until he found her. There was nowhere she could hide.

Now that he’s on her trail again, will she give in or run harder?

    Prologue

Tanya was finally free of the danger she’d been under for so long. No more would she have to hide from the criminals after her. That was a good thing, right? Then why did it hurt deep in his chest when he came home to find her gone? If she didn’t want to stay, he would just let her go.

Then why was it that other women didn’t interest him, and drinking and carousing had lost their shine? Even chasing criminals no longer meant what it used to. All he thought about was her. All he wanted was her. By the gods and goddesses, she was his!

That’s when he decided he would chase her down and show her who she belonged to. There would be nowhere on this Earth or the other realms she could hide from him. Nothing would stop him, and no one would get in his way if they were smart.

What’s got you wound so tight? Will asked. She was the leader of their group.

Nothing. I need some time off. He declared.

Finally figure it out? She asked. Of course, she knew. She was a white wolf and they always seemed to know things. Will was a cousin and therefore related in some way to his Tanya.

Don’t know what you mean. Just need some time off. He mentioned.

Will snorted. On anyone else it would seem rude but on the white wolves he’d been around it was cute. How long?

Don’t know yet. When I do, I’ll let you know. He answered.

    Okay. She said.

Just okay? No questions? He asked.

Just okay. Hit the road and don’t you come back without her. Will snickered. Dare, one of her mates, grinned too.

Fine. He said as he turned to leave with the well wishes of his team ringing in his ears. This was his one chance at happiness, and he would grab ahold with both hands. That woman was going to be his.

The first place he would check was where Ariel lived. Tanya had been gone a month before he had figured out he couldn’t live without her. Now he was playing catch up. He pulled down the long driveway that looked more like a track through a field and pulled into the parking lot that was now paved.

As he walked up to the door, it opened for him. He expected a teenager since they often watched the door, but this time it was Ariel herself. Took you long enough. You know she won’t be easy. She was let down too much. Males are such fools.

I’d argue, but you’re right. Will you help me find her? He asked.

What makes you think I know where she is? Ariel asked.

You always know something. He observed.

Last I heard, she went to Ottumwa to meet a friend.

    Where the hell is Ottumwa?

It’s in Iowa. Ever watch MASH? It was where Radar O’Reilly was from. She picked a bad place to go. Things have been going on there lately and the alpha is looking for a mate. Ariel explained.

His heart turned to lead in his chest. No. He couldn’t be too late. Turning, he ran to his SUV and spun out as he left. With a month lead on him, she could be mated already but he still had to try.

    Chapter 1

    Ottumwa

    (Devil)

He had his GPS programmed and it looked like the Iowa city was six and a half hours straight driving from Ariel’s. That was with no stops so he figured it would be eight hours if he stopped a couple times for bathroom breaks, gas, and food. None of his friends knew what he was but they all knew he needed to eat often and well.

That was because he was a mix of many kinds, he wasn’t even sure what all he had in him himself. His father claimed to be pure fire demon, but he knew that wasn’t true. His grandma had told him she was only half fire demon and half succubus. That was where he got his charm and the attraction that pulled in the ladies.

His grandpa was not even a full half fire demon, only a fourth. He had some vampire, werewolf, and a touch of fey hiding somewhere. His mother, he’d never truly known. While his father said she left him the day he was born, rumors were that he’d been taken from her, and his father had banished her.

He believed it because his father might be a fire demon, but emotionally he was a cold male. Why he was thinking about all this he didn’t know. Maybe his lonely childhood and the lack of love from anyone but his grandma had stunted him emotionally. That might be something he needed to deal with before he could truly give Tanya what she needed from him.

Tanya always wanted to talk about his life and his past. He was the one that never wanted to share. It might not be fair since he knew almost everything about her. That was something he’d known since before he’d ever laid eyes on her. The situation that she’d fallen into had been bad and it seemed like it had happened yesterday….

Will stood in her office waiting for him as she looked over a folder. He knocked on the door. Enter! She said.

"You needed to see me?" He asked.

"Have a seat. She directed. Will tossed the folder in front of him. This is a tough case. My cuz, Tanya, is running from a criminal that put a price on her head. We need you to find her and put her in protective custody."

"Me? Wouldn’t a family member have better luck?" He’d asked.

"This requires your special talents. Will observed. You need to leave immediately. Use your military travel card and you are authorized to spare no expense. She’s a witness, but she’s also family."

He’d left and he’d never been more challenged on a hunt than by Tanya. The attraction had flared the second he’d seen her picture and had grown as he’d discovered her abilities and eventually met her in person. That he’d let her get away from him because he’d feared mating had all been on him.

That fear wouldn’t hold him back anymore. He was on her trail and wouldn’t stop until she was his. The miles fell away, and he stopped briefly ready to get on the road as quickly as possible. His mind was occupied with Tanya, and he wondered what she was doing.

The distance shrunk as he finally made it into Iowa. Tanya’s friend was Sally McMurray and Ariel had eventually emailed him contact information. His mate would be pissed when she discovered Ariel had helped him. Hopefully they would mate, and she would forgive both him and Ariel. At least that was his fervent hope.

Once he got to Ottumwa, he found the street Sally lived on. The lights were on giving him reason to believe she was home. He knew he was scary for the average person, and he didn’t know how to be any other way. Maybe she wouldn’t scream when she saw him. Knocking on the door, he held his breath at the hope Tanya would be here.

The door opened and a small female looked out at him. Devil! She called out.

Do I know you? He asked.

No, but I feel like I know you. Come in. She motioned. He followed her in and sat in the seat she indicated.

    Is she here? He asked.

No, but she only left two weeks ago. She spoke about you so much. It hit her hard, you know? I just knew if the goddess loved white wolves at all you’d come. Sooner would have been better. She accused.

Where did she go? He asked.

Tanya never said I couldn’t tell you. We caught up and she itched to keep moving. She has a cousin in Dallas. That’s where she planned to go next. You can stay the night here and leave in the morning. It’s a sixteen-hour trip if you only take a few stops. The second room on the right is the one she stayed in. Sally said. They talked for a few minutes, but he was really tired, and she could tell. Go on. I’ll see you in the morning before you go.

He walked down the hall and entered the room. Right away the scent of his mate hit him hard. Once he laid down on the bed, her aroma wrapped around him, and he was calm enough to go to sleep.

At least he’d cut her lead down to two weeks. When he woke, he was chomping at the bit to leave. Sally was great and had breakfast cooked. You go on now and make an honest female out of her. She declared with a laugh.
