About this ebook

Kimmie is twenty–eight and the youngest of the group of white wolf cousins that have agreed to keep their distance from the werewolf world. She’s a lighthearted party girl but that just hides her sorrow at having to stay away from Paul just because he’s a wolf. Sometimes she wonders if it’s worth all her misery, just to stay human.
Paul will do anything to get Kimmie back in his life including deceive her and use sex to hook her. He knows he can change her mind and he’s going to use a night of erotic fantasy to make her see that all she really wants is him.

Crystal Dawn

When she’s not out hunting rogue vampires and werewolves, you can find Crystal Dawn out exploring the galaxy. She can do it all without ever leaving her computer. She kicks ass, takes names, and puts it all down for the enjoyment of her readers. At least that’s what I think she told me. Writing came as a natural outlet for her overly creative mind. She has always told stories and even written some but publishing books didn't start until 2012 with The Rebirth, was the first of the Planet Amazon books. Crystal has also been lucky to have some wonderful beta readers who keep her on track and help inspire her.Secretly, she crushes on all her sexy heroes because all her stories end happily. That is one of the things that makes writing such a joy. Knowing that it makes her reader's day a little brighter. Not that she doesn't read sad books sometimes. While still in school, she read Where the Red Fern Grows and cried like a baby. It was a wonderful book and sometimes a bit of sadness has to be put in books because that's part of life. While she reads all kinds of books at some time or another, PNR and SFR, which she writes is what she reads the most for pleasure. When she started writing, she decided on going Indie after the first two books because an author has more control. She believes Indie will compete well and continues to grow. The need to give pleasure to her readers keeps her going and she sees a long career ahead. Growing up mostly in the NW Arkansas area, it has given her a good place to set some stories and many of her characters come from there or nearby SW Missouri. The start of her stories is the easy part. Finishing them is a little harder when all the stories are in there trying to get out. She loves reading, chocolate, fine sweet wine, and traveling among a large list of pursuits. Her favorite people, after her family and close friends, are her readers who she says are some of the most wonderful people in this galaxy and the next.

    Secret Desire - Crystal Dawn

    Prologue

Six men sat around the table making plans that would either change their life for the better or send them further into the pit of lovesick despair. The idea was solid, they would join forces to create a dating service starting with one night of fantasy. They wanted to help others that were lonely and in need of a true love or fated mate, but first they wanted to help themselves.

All six of the men were werewolves that had found their perfect match, their fated mates, but they’d been rejected.

Erotic Fantasies, the dating business they founded, was all about them getting one shot at the female they wanted. All six ladies were white wolves, a powerful werewolf bloodline that had mixed in with humans and almost been lost. They had reasons to be leery of wolves, but not all wolves were objectionable. The males knew if they got the chance, their mates would fall into their arms one by one.

Lucas went first and now he’s mated. Paul goes next and he’s nervous, but he knows it will work out right, it has too. It’s time to get on with the night!

    Chapter 1

    Wishing

The empty chair at their table for six called attention to the fact that one of them had gone to the dark side. Sue Ellen wouldn’t be coming to these meetings any more now that she’d forsaken her humanity and given in to the primitive need to mate with a wolf.

It wasn’t a blood oath or a contract, it was just an agreement among friends, cousins actually, not to lose their humanity. Kimmie remembered in a class she had taken where the teacher had told them an oral contract wasn’t worth the paper it was written on. Miss Teeters had cackled at her joke until tears came to her eyes as she ran her hands down her sweater dislodging random cat hair. Yes, that teacher was the old cat lady none of them wanted to become but she wasn’t stupid. She was a good teacher flawlessly knowing what should be done even if she hadn’t always applied it to her own life.

The six of them that had come to the agreement and the empty chair that Sue Ellen should have filled screamed to all of them that she given up and given in to her desire for her wolf. They didn’t always have gatherings without her, but when they did, it was to discuss their humanity. It was something she no longer had and never would have again. All of them were all white wolves, a bloodline the other wolves had thought lost forever. Now that they’d been found, they were a constant temptation to wolves, especially alphas, which hungered after them more than they did their favorite meal.

Sue Ellen had succumbed to the desire for one of those alphas and while she seemed happy, blissful even, there were no guarantees and once you went wolf, there was no turning back. Once they had banished the wolves they cared for from their lives, none of them seemed to be particularly happy. In order to find a man equally desirable, even if only for one night, they had turned to a dating service that promised a fantasy man for one night, or if both parties agreed, much more. The beauty of the whole thing was the anonymity it promised. A night of erotic pleasure that she could choose to continue or treasure as a memory if she chose not to pursue a relationship. Somehow though, Kimmie had failed to take into account that the man had some say in whether he allowed her to cast him aside or claim him.

Kimmie, are you looking forward to the erotic fantasy date.? Sara asked. She was the cousin that owned a coffee shop. Sara was almost as outgoing as Kimmie and that made sense with the business she had going. Dillie was the wolf that had captured her attention and leaving him had broken her heart and his. He was a successful advertiser that she’d dumped when she discovered he was a wolf.

I can’t wait until my turn. My sex life has sucked, Skye admitted. Her weakness had been a wolf called Fancher. He owned an accounting firm but while they had scheduled a date, she had found out he was a wolf and cancelled immediately.

At least you have a sex life to complain about, Sharon complained. All the good looking guys around here that I meet turn out to be wolves. Her weakness was a hot bad boy who owned a motorcycle shop named Ven. Kimmie was sure that had to stand for something, but Ven never told what his full name was. That just added to the air of mystery.

Suki consoled, That’s why this fantasy night is so important. It’s our gift to ourselves for standing strong. She was struggling with her choice to give up Roger.

Okay, I’ll admit I’m excited, but it’s also scary. I don’t know what to expect and all Sue Ellen will tell me is that it was fantabulous, whatever the hell that means. Unfortunately having a fantasy night with a wild man wasn’t enough to stop her from going rogue. She does seem to be disgustingly happy, Kimmie observed. Everyone agreed that was true and if there was a guarantee things would work out like that for the rest of them, well their decisions might be different.

The waitress came by to see what they wanted. Bring us two pitchers of beer, Sara ordered.

A platter of wings, Kimmie added.

Two orders of nacho supreme, Suki chimed in.

Let’s not forget the Supremo fries, Sara added.

How many plates of those? the waitress asked.

Two of the large, Sara suggested.

Okay, I have 2 pitchers of beer, a platter of wings, 2 orders of nachos, and 2 orders of Supremo fries. Anything else? the waitress, Jenny was on her name tag, asked.

Yeah, a side order of a sexy man, Sharon piped up.

Sweetheart, if I saw one of those hanging around all available, I’d take him and run, Jenny admitted.

All of them broke out into giggles and they were still laughing when Jenny brought the beer. Tonight, there was a special on the beer, buy one get one free and the tap that they ordered was cheap but tasted alright. A good cheap drunk was just what Kimmie was looking for tonight. She’d ridden in with Sharon who would limit herself to sipping on her mug and end up without having more than two drinks for the evening. The food came quickly, and they fell on it like a pack of wolves, oops that wasn’t a good comparison. Wolves
