Insane is what Skye feels like right now. She is waiting for her fantasy man to come through the door and sweep her off her feet for a night of sensual naughtiness. Skye can’t believe she has agreed to do this and is about to leave when he knocks on the door. One night of pleasure won’t hurt anything, right?

Crystal Dawn

When she’s not out hunting rogue vampires and werewolves, you can find Crystal Dawn out exploring the galaxy. She can do it all without ever leaving her computer. She kicks ass, takes names, and puts it all down for the enjoyment of her readers. At least that’s what I think she told me. Writing came as a natural outlet for her overly creative mind. She has always told stories and even written some but publishing books didn't start until 2012 with The Rebirth, was the first of the Planet Amazon books. Crystal has also been lucky to have some wonderful beta readers who keep her on track and help inspire her.Secretly, she crushes on all her sexy heroes because all her stories end happily. That is one of the things that makes writing such a joy. Knowing that it makes her reader's day a little brighter. Not that she doesn't read sad books sometimes. While still in school, she read Where the Red Fern Grows and cried like a baby. It was a wonderful book and sometimes a bit of sadness has to be put in books because that's part of life. While she reads all kinds of books at some time or another, PNR and SFR, which she writes is what she reads the most for pleasure. When she started writing, she decided on going Indie after the first two books because an author has more control. She believes Indie will compete well and continues to grow. The need to give pleasure to her readers keeps her going and she sees a long career ahead. Growing up mostly in the NW Arkansas area, it has given her a good place to set some stories and many of her characters come from there or nearby SW Missouri. The start of her stories is the easy part. Finishing them is a little harder when all the stories are in there trying to get out. She loves reading, chocolate, fine sweet wine, and traveling among a large list of pursuits. Her favorite people, after her family and close friends, are her readers who she says are some of the most wonderful people in this galaxy and the next.

    Prologue

The world of the supernatural exists all around us, but we don’t see it. Even if we catch a glimpse of it, we refuse to admit that’s what we saw. But not all humans are allowed to go about their mundane existence in complete ignorance.

My family was just minding their own business when a werewolf bit one of us, changing her life and ours, forever. A bite won’t always do that, but this time it changed their world too. My cousin Ariel changed into a snow white wolf. White wolves were a powerful bloodline believed to be extinct, but now that we’ve been found, we are pursued relentlessly.

Many of us snubbed the wolves, as they preferred to be called. I was one of those who chose to stick with my own kind. My name is Sue Ellen, and this is the story of Fan and Skye. Skye didn’t want to change to a wolf, so she left her love behind. Fan had plans and they didn’t include being abandoned. We’ll see who actually gets their way.

This story takes place after four wolves in our group reconnect with their fated ones. Now it’s Fan’s turn to try to win back Skye and he will do anything to get her back. Maybe the magic of the approaching Valentine’s night will help. The whole thing began months ago…

    ***

Six men sat around the table making plans that would either change their life for the better or send them further into the pit of lovesick despair. The idea was solid, they would join forces to create a dating service that started with one night of fantasy. They wanted to help others that were lonely and in need of a true love or fated mate but first they wanted to help themselves.

All six of the men were werewolves that had found their perfect match, their fated mates, but they’d been rejected. Erotic Fantasies, the dating business they founded, was all about them getting one more shot at the female they wanted.

All six ladies were white wolves, a powerful werewolf bloodline that had mixed in with humans and almost been lost. They had reasons to be leery of wolves, but not all wolves were objectionable. The males knew that if they got the chance, their mates would fall into their arms one by one.

Lucas had gone first and now was mated. Paul went next and he was nervous, but he knew it would work out right and it did. Ven also had his night and managed to claim his mate.

Dillie’s turn was successful too. Fan was nervous as his number was coming up on Valentines of all days. Four successful pairing and now it was his turn, what if he failed?

    Chapter 1

    Fated

Fan had met Skye when she became a customer of his firm. An accountant had been sick and he’d taken over the appointments for the day. They’d agreed to go out for a drink after work but she’d called later and cancelled.

I don’t date wolves, she had explained.

He had wondered how she’d known, until he found out about her connections. Fancher, called Fannie as a boy and now generally called Fan, had felt disappointed and he’d thought that was all he’d felt. Since he’d just met her, how could his feelings be that strong? It was after he’d joined the group of five other rejected mates and they’d all realized these women were their fated ones.

Maybe it was fate playing a hand in their favor that brought the six males together. The matchmaking site they had founded was certainly a financial success and it had been responsible for an unexpected number of true matings. Now if it could only aid him in bonding with his mate.

Fan, what are you thinking about? Lucas asked.

He shot him a glare. What do you think?

One more week buddy and you’ll know for sure how your story ends.

I can only hope I have the success you other guys have had.

Yes, you need to continue the success, so Dillie doesn’t have a stroke when his turn comes. Lucas offered.

Sara may be the most stubborn of them all. Fan admitted. That just meant if he got nowhere with Skye, Dillie had no hope at all.

Of all the women, I would have thought your girl would have embraced being a wolf.

Just because she loves animals, doesn’t mean she wants to be married to one. Fan recited. No, Skye hadn’t told him that, he’d overheard some of the younger white wolf cousins talking about their personal outlooks.

Yeah, I get it. But still, she’s a veterinarian. You’d think she’d want to put you out of your pain. Paul teased. The joke fell flat.

Will you woo her with flowers and chocolates? After all, it will be Valentines.

    Flowers for sure. Fan admitted.

Go big or go home, Man. Chocolates and champagne go well with blood red roses. Dillie advised. You have Valentines, the most romantic of all holidays. Use it in your favor. I’m the poor schmuck who has Father’s day as the closest holiday.

None of the assembled males commented. They just grabbed a wing or guzzled some beer and four of them thanked the goddess their troubles were behind them. The gathering was to encourage Fancher, but it seemed to be having the opposite effect.

Fancher sat brooding remembering his beautiful mate. Her golden brown hair, long and loose flowing around her perfect body. Her whiskey eyes, glowing almost like a wolf’s would. Short of stature, but full of passion, she wasn’t afraid of anything.
