    BARE FEET

Somtimes I feel like I have

    walked a long journey without

    real shoes but imaginary ones

    that have no soles.

No soles is a bad sign for shoes

    even imaginary ones

the concrete rips at my toes

    like a lion rips

and that’s not a good feeling you know.

It’s a shame I have to tell you that.

You know it but you won’t

    say the things you should.

    That’s a funny word - should

    it’s soooooo
