About this ebook

Francis started painting and writing very late in his life. For sure, he never thought or dreamt that he would ever write a book. School was never his best friend, and writing was never his forte and grammar was his weakest point.
Well, one can ‘never say never!’ as his life is a living proof of this axiom. Somehow there will always be a way to bring out and express the talents and gifts in one’s life sooner or later.
Nonetheless, here he is at the venerable pensionable age, the author of several books on the temples of Malta from an ‘alternative perspective,’ besides writing two autobiographies. Several of his books are available as hardcopies, and all are available in PDF and eBook formats. His first novel Islands of Dream is translated in Italian and Dutch!
He coned the expression ‘novelogue’ as his first three novels are ‘a story in the form of a continuous dialogue between three people and their exchange of ideas on the temples of Malta.’
The views expressed in his books are very much at the ‘fringe’ of mainstream thinking. They were meant to challenge the conventional outlook and fixed theories about the Temples and bring to light the forgotten history of mankind and the long evolutionary journey of humankind on Earth.
The books were written from the depth on the core of his being! And, he is amazed what impact a book or words can have on people! Here in this booklet he brings together many of the comments, remarks, thoughts, notes and conversation of his readers and those who had gone with him on ‘one of his temple journeys.’ Their comments and feedback are genuine and sincere.

Francis Xavier Aloisio

Francis Xavier Aloisio was born on the island of Malta, but spent more than half of his life abroad, first in Peru as a missionary priest and then in England where he settled after resigning from the Church.Whilst abroad, he realised that not many people knew about the temples of Malta. On his return home, he had a strong urge to find a way to promote the unique wealth of the Maltese prehistoric and historic culture. Firstly he created a collection of paintings depicting Malta’s journey throughout history, and then he started doing his own research on the Temples of Malta and Gozo.He completed a trilogy on the temples of Malta: 'Islands of Dream,' 'The Age of Magic and Wisdom' and 'The New Temple Dreamers.' He also published 'The Maltese Temples in Paintings & Poetry' and 'Malta through the Ages,' 'The Islands of Dream Speak' and 'A Cosmic Perspective to the Maltese Temples' as a self-guide to the sites. He even wrote two autobiographies: 'What a Trip!' and 'Coming to Light!'In 2017, he embarked on writing the script and making a documentary of the Maltese temples: Let the Stones Speak! This documentary is a compilation of all his work and insights about the temples of Malta.Francis directs and consults with people/groups about the experience of the sacred sites found on Malta & Gozo (see: maltatemplejourneys.com), and now together with Christine Auriela, does the same with people who want to visit the Central Coast of California and to connect with the pure Lemurian Energies (lemuriaenergyjourneys.com).Francis started painting late in his life as a way of self-expression. He draws his inspiration from his Maltese background and his experience in South America and England. He is a visionary artist, author, public speaker and spiritual temple consultant.* Please remember to leave a review for my book at your favourite retailer.

    INTRODUCTION

I never thought or dreamt that I would ever write a book. School was never my best friend! I am the only member of the family that finished school without accomplishing any A Level grades, without going to University and without an MA or a BA Degree or even a Ph.D. I always carried a feeling of ‘inferiority’ complex because of this lack of qualification. Then I thought that my success in life depends on the results of exams and qualifications.

So, writing was never my forte and grammar was my weakest point. In fact, I had partial dyslexia where my brain took longer to make the connection of words in a sentence and then matching the letters I saw on the page. I used to confuse the order of words, and so I had to be very creative in developing skills to help me figure out words and sentences. Similarly I had trouble with mathematical figures. The years spent at school were torture, and I could not wait to be out in the open, doing Physical Education or other sports activities.

The cultural baggage and past conditioning weighed heavenly on my psyche; I was overwhelmed by ‘fear of failure,’ ‘feelings of unworthiness,’ or ‘not being recognised for my worth’ and ‘I’m not good enough.’ As a result, if somebody said to me that one day I will be writing books, I would have laughed loud. It took me a long time to overcome the feeling that I was ‘inadequate for the task’ and start expressing my gifts and talents, and acknowledging my self-worth.

As I stated in my autobiography What a Trip! it took me a lifetime to comprehend the depth of Robert Kiyosaki’s statement when he said: You don’t need a college education. You need a proper education.

Fortunately, I did get to travel. Travelling and meeting people were to be my University of Life - the best university I ever attended! My novels and my books are the result of my life experiences and the meeting of people.

Yet, here I am at the venerable pensionable age, the author of several books both in Hardcopies, in PDF and eBook formats that are available in bookshops on Malta and on all online bookshops, and my first novel is translated in Italian and Dutch!

So, one can ‘never say never!’ as my life is a living proof of this axiom. Somehow there will always be a way to bring out and express the talents and gifts in one’s life sooner or later.

In my case, it was a slow journey of discovery during which I had to face my past conditionings, my ingrained patterns, my denials in order to eventually rediscover my soul and my talents. Since I met my wife, Christine, I became more prolific and enterprising in my writing through her encouraging support and insightful suggestions.

The books published were written from the depth of the core of my being! And this particular booklet is a compilation and a collection of the comments, remarks, thoughts, notes and conversations from readers on any one of my books and/or of people coming with me visiting and journeying the sacred sites.

It is unbelievable what impact the words of a book can have on people! I am always amazed with the readers’ reaction and remarks…they are pure magic as they come from the heart. Truly incredible! I fell very humble and honoured, and at the same time I appreciate all their comments and insights!

    WRITING…A BOOK!

After twenty-one years in England, I found myself in British Columbia, Canada (1998), following a short disappointing phase of my life in California. Canada turned out to be a very important time in my life, of painful experiences, spiritual growth and renewal; a period of endings and new beginnings. It was where I was introduced to writing.

During my stay in Canada, I had the opportunity to do The Artist’s Way (TAW) by Julia Cameroon.

Julia Cameron is the author of this book who has been a writing artist for more than twenty years, serving in Hollywood as a film and television writer, director and producer of many independent features and documentaries. She is an award-winning journalist writing for diverse publications. Her first big success was writing Miami Vice, after which she continued to be a successful award winning film writer and the author of The Money Drunk and The Vein of Gold.

The TAW is a comprehensive twelve-week program leading towards the recovery of your creativity and freeing of the artist’s blocks like limited beliefs, fear, self-sabotage, jealously, guilt and other addictions. It is directed at people who are interested in living more creatively through practicing an art, and more broadly, anyone interested in practicing the art of creative living; for people, who only dream of being somehow more creative. What an amazing empowering process for aspiring and working artists! It is a path, initiated and practiced through creativity. It shows you how to ‘get out of the way of the god of creativity,’ and let that creative force work through you by ‘letting yourselves to be creative.’ Working a blueprint for do-it-yourself recovery, you are shown how to tap into the higher power that connects human creativity with the creative energies of the Universe. Also, it gives other tools to recover your
