The Hidden and Forgotten Temples of Malta: A Journey of Discovery
()
About this ebook
The two books The Cosmic Perspective to the Maltese Temples and the Sacred Symbols were written with the aim to encourage people to do their own ‘self-guided visits’ to the temples. They offer an alternative viewpoint to the temples from a cosmic, metaphysical and spiritual perspective of these sacred sites. They are a ‘must’ on your visit to the Mystic Temples of Malta and Gozo.
The Hidden and Forgotten eBook will complement these two books. It was written for those that are intrigued by these mysterious sites on these islands or are interested in doing good extra research on these ‘forgotten’ sites. But, especially for those who have a passion to discover more about the ‘hidden’ temples and who support the preservation of these lesser-known sites. Precisely, this book is written with these persons in mind.
What is special about this book, which is also the purpose of this book, are the ‘co-ordinates’ of each site. These coordinates are a tool for your GPS so you will be able to locate easier those sites that are really ‘hidden’ or difficult to access them.
All the prehistoric sites on these islands pay tribute to the immense architectural skills of the temple planners and builders. After centuries of earthquakes, catastrophes, tsunamis, political indifference, vandalism, destruction, apathy, and neglect, they survived, almost in spite of all the above. So, they survived in spite of everything.
These books help the visitor to enjoy journeying and mapping the sacred sites! They will enhance the experience to be a memorable souvenir of your visit to these sacred sites of Malta!
Francis Xavier Aloisio
Francis Xavier Aloisio was born on the island of Malta, but spent more than half of his life abroad, first in Peru as a missionary priest and then in England where he settled after resigning from the Church.Whilst abroad, he realised that not many people knew about the temples of Malta. On his return home, he had a strong urge to find a way to promote the unique wealth of the Maltese prehistoric and historic culture. Firstly he created a collection of paintings depicting Malta’s journey throughout history, and then he started doing his own research on the Temples of Malta and Gozo.He completed a trilogy on the temples of Malta: 'Islands of Dream,' 'The Age of Magic and Wisdom' and 'The New Temple Dreamers.' He also published 'The Maltese Temples in Paintings & Poetry' and 'Malta through the Ages,' 'The Islands of Dream Speak' and 'A Cosmic Perspective to the Maltese Temples' as a self-guide to the sites. He even wrote two autobiographies: 'What a Trip!' and 'Coming to Light!'In 2017, he embarked on writing the script and making a documentary of the Maltese temples: Let the Stones Speak! This documentary is a compilation of all his work and insights about the temples of Malta.Francis directs and consults with people/groups about the experience of the sacred sites found on Malta & Gozo (see: maltatemplejourneys.com), and now together with Christine Auriela, does the same with people who want to visit the Central Coast of California and to connect with the pure Lemurian Energies (lemuriaenergyjourneys.com).Francis started painting late in his life as a way of self-expression. He draws his inspiration from his Maltese background and his experience in South America and England. He is a visionary artist, author, public speaker and spiritual temple consultant.* Please remember to leave a review for my book at your favourite retailer.

FOREWORD
You would get a better feel of this magical place full of wondrous dichotomy with a poem penned by Dr. M. Grace, a psychologist and author who lives in Austin, Texas.
She was flying to the USA after an international conference when her plane had to do an emergency landing in Malta. It was a short stay during which she fell in love with the land and the energy here. She did not know that, on this island, she would be entangled in the red thread that joins 7000 years of human evolution.
She did not know that, on this island, she would find Mother Goddess and Father God, married forever, in a sealed embrace that lasts into eternity. She expressed her love to Malta in these beautiful words.
My Song for Malta
Malta is a moment.
A moment you cannot catch,
for you don’t know whether it’s a moment
from the past that sneaks into the present
to become the future,
or the future that has sunk into a merciless
and bottomless past.
Malta is a moment of innocence
that has insisted on surviving
a violation that has lasted 7,000 years;
It is also a moment of unspeakable betrayal,
where a lie imposed itself on Time,
even though Time still refuses to believe it.
It is the marriage of the most murderous masculine force with the life-giving divinity of the feminine,
in the name of religion.
Malta is Stillness,
the inevitable sinking of the Rock inside the Water,
it is the island that cannot escape,
to save Herself from Herself.
At the same time, Malta is Motion,
it is the opening, the ongoing flow,
the lightness of the breeze in the evening,
when everybody is walking on the sea front;
A sea front that hugs the island tightly,
like a snake biting its tail.
Malta is a circle that begins where it ends,
it is a dot in the middle of the Mediterranean
and the belly-button on the body of Mother Earth;
It is the holy hole from which we all,
humans, have emerged,
joined in a chorus line that reached the skies.
Hand-in-hand we’ve been dancing now for 7000 years,
a dance that reaches the skies.
Malta is a bosom;
she is tiny woman married to Giant Time,
a male beast she tamed because she let him own her,
and turn her into his slave.
He made her his, relentlessly, mercilessly.
Just like angry men do to women out of fear,
because they know that women have a soul,
while they have only a body.
Malta is a blessing that God dropped right
in the middle of the Mediterranean.
It is a dry interruption in a continuum of water,
such a tiny interruption and such a tiny blessing,
that even the Mediterranean, sometimes, forgets it.
Malta is the island that saved shipwrecked
sailors, apostles and wanderers
like Ulysses, Paul, and myself.
She seduced us, she fed us her sweetness,
she healed us, and she sent us on
to higher ways, to bigger waves.
Malta is a station.
She is one of those stations where you, the sojourner,
get baptised and reborn.
You leave here something that is very much yours,
and you take with you something
that is very much of Malta.
And neither you, nor Malta
know what you have exchanged.
Or rather, if one
