About this ebook

For the first time we have an ‘alternative handbook’ that gives us a cosmic and a holistic view of the mysterious Prehistoric Temples of Malta and Gozo. The handbook offers a different view and explanation from that of the official archaeological or tourist guide about the Temples. It reveals the probable purpose and role of these mysterious sites, provides us with a cosmic and metaphysical perspective on these Sacred Sites. It offers one the opportunity to see the ‘bigger picture’ and to think ‘out of the box.’
Humanity has now reached the stage where it is open, eager and hungry enough to know the ‘truth’ about the purpose of its own evolution rather than accept at face value the traditional teaching. It is ready to discard the awe it has always harboured towards established academia, which has dictated dogmas of belief across disciplines for so long. This ‘alternative handbook’ will surely both intrigue you and entice you to look at the prehistoric sites with a more open outlook and to understand their purpose in the human evolution. It is time that these stories and insights should be communicated and shared with all. This guidebook is a gently nudge towards the stage of humanity’s ‘full remembrance.’ It will both intrigue and entice the reader to visit the sites with a more ‘open view’ about these mysterious prehistoric sites. Malta is unique with all its above ground, subterranean and underwater temples. Malta, in a way, is a ‘living museum.’ Visiting these sites one gets the sensation that something truly important has happened here! And, it did!
P.S. I felt it is time to reverse the title of the Handbook from ‘An Alternative Handbook’ to ‘A Cosmic Perspective’ to the Maltese Temples. Bringing the word 'Cosmic' into the equation shows the true vibration of the temples to who built them and for what purpose.

Author

Francis Xavier Aloisio

Francis Xavier Aloisio was born on the island of Malta, but spent more than half of his life abroad, first in Peru as a missionary priest and then in England where he settled after resigning from the Church.Whilst abroad, he realised that not many people knew about the temples of Malta. On his return home, he had a strong urge to find a way to promote the unique wealth of the Maltese prehistoric and historic culture. Firstly he created a collection of paintings depicting Malta’s journey throughout history, and then he started doing his own research on the Temples of Malta and Gozo.He completed a trilogy on the temples of Malta: 'Islands of Dream,' 'The Age of Magic and Wisdom' and 'The New Temple Dreamers.' He also published 'The Maltese Temples in Paintings & Poetry' and 'Malta through the Ages,' 'The Islands of Dream Speak' and 'A Cosmic Perspective to the Maltese Temples' as a self-guide to the sites. He even wrote two autobiographies: 'What a Trip!' and 'Coming to Light!'In 2017, he embarked on writing the script and making a documentary of the Maltese temples: Let the Stones Speak! This documentary is a compilation of all his work and insights about the temples of Malta.Francis directs and consults with people/groups about the experience of the sacred sites found on Malta & Gozo (see: maltatemplejourneys.com), and now together with Christine Auriela, does the same with people who want to visit the Central Coast of California and to connect with the pure Lemurian Energies (lemuriaenergyjourneys.com).Francis started painting late in his life as a way of self-expression. He draws his inspiration from his Maltese background and his experience in South America and England. He is a visionary artist, author, public speaker and spiritual temple consultant.* Please remember to leave a review for my book at your favourite retailer.

"Many of the temple structures were studied academically on the physical level, and observed and investigated from the mental level of the mind. Many times these sites give up little to conventional investigation.

Humanity has become fossilised and stuck in the mental continuum, through which access to the essence of these sites cannot be gained.

To understand the temples one needs to reach into the higher aspects of these energies, as the awareness of them is not perceivable. To do so requires the ability to lift one’s consciousness above the causal level."

    INTRODUCTION

I have always been fascinated by the history of the Islands, a small archipelago, situated in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. These islands have been at the crossroads of many civilisations, bestowing on them a very colourful legacy and a woven tapestry of ancient, old and modern history. What they lack in size, they make up for in the richness of their history.

Later in my life, I became captivated by the mystery of Malta’s prehistory, and I soon came to realise that Malta's uniqueness can be discovered in its prehistoric past. This landmass of a mere 320 km² is the home of more than fifty prehistoric sites.

But how many people around the world know about these mysterious sites? How many know that these temples are the oldest free standing structures in the world?

My research in prehistory led me to publish my first novel Islands of Dream. Two more were to follow: The Age of Magic and Wisdom and The New Temple Dreamers.

I am now excited to share with you, visitors to the sacred and mysterious sites, my experience of the temples of Malta from a metaphysical, cosmic, esoteric and intuitive perspective – the spiritual view of the temples. My books have to be read/digested from a ‘transcendental’ standpoint.

We, as a society, know little about ourselves as a people, how we got here and what happened to us over the millennia. I always felt that there was a missing piece to the big puzzle of historical information and that the picture of prehistory, that period of our history that has not been recorded in a form we can yet recognise, may not be complete or truthful enough.

I always felt that there was something lacking in ‘the story,’ and that there were ‘missing links’ to our temples. I realised that the temples were never researched from a metaphysical, esoteric and cosmic perspective. Thus the prehistoric culture has been incomplete without the transcendental and spiritual components.

The other missing link is that of Atlantis. Atlantis is largely ignored by mainstream scholars and historians, and it is still thought to be a myth, despite all of the evidence of civilisations of the pre-flood period which has been brought to light in recent years. We still do not accept the reality of Atlantis, yet, Malta is a living memory of the 3rd era Atlantis.
