Maurice Butler
Mr. Maurice J. Butler is a native of Michigan. He’s married and has one daughter. He also has an identical twin brother. Mr. Butler has been an elementary school teacher for several years. He’s had numerous opportunities to view the hilarious and eventful scenarios of his students. Mr. Butler continues to reside and teach in Michigan.

Boy that sure was a scary movie! All those monsters jumping in and out of the water was really something,
said Caury.
Yeaaaaaaah!
said Maury. They looked like they were coming right at me! The one with two big ugly green heads, arms as long as small trees and with six hands at the end of each one looked like they were trying to reach out and grab me!
"Oh, Maury, you’re in the THIRD GRADE!
Have you forgotten that you are wearing 3D glasses? That’s why the monsters looked as though they were about to attack you," said a brave Caury.
Alright, boys, let’s go home,
said their father.
As Mr. Williams held the door of the movie theatre open, Caury and his mom walked out into the sunlight.
Where is your brother?
asked Mrs. Williams. I thought he was right behind me.
Mr. Williams walked back inside. Maury was still clutching the arm of the seat as he sat shaking in the dim lit theatre.
Come on Maury,
said his dad. It’s okay. The monsters have all gone back into the water.
Maury’s dad reached for his son’s hand and led him up the aisle and out the door. Maury sniffled with each step.
When we get home, we’ll have some of your favorite ice cream.
Sniff, sniff, vanilla?
asked Maury. Yes, vanilla,
said his dad.
As Mr. Williams pulled into the driveway, Maury waved his arms back and forth shouting,
