Acknowledgement
I would like to thank my Lord and savior Jesus, for his love and protection.
My mother for always telling me stories. I believe that’s where the inspiration came from.
My bunnies Bubbles and Berry for always sitting with me, even though they chewed all my mom’s cables.
My Cubcake family, thank you for your support.
Once upon a time there were twins, a boy and a girl, called Brian and Bryana. They lived with their parents in a fairy tale house where there was love and laughter. Every evening, their mom read them a collection of stories from their childhood. She did this so that they would fall asleep. In their warm beds, the twins listened to their mom’s voice and drifted off to dreamland. When their mother was not reading to them, their father played games with them late into the night. The twins were very close, smart and also creative. The family decided to go camping one weekend, but a day before the getaway, the parents decided to go to do last minute shopping. The twins were left home with Aunt Mary who was their mother’s best friend, packing with excitement. After some hours, there was a knock on the door, and Aunt Mary stood up to open, she first looked through the curtain and saw two police officers, she quickly opened the door.
Hello ma’am
officers greeted
Hello officers
she greeted back
At that moment the officer cleared his throat and asked,Um ma’am are you a relative?
No but I’m a close friend of the family, babysitting for the day
she replied.
The officer took off his hat and said Ma’am there’s been a terrible car accident and the couple that was inside the car didn’t make it. We would like you to come and identify the bodies.
She started crying covering her mouth not wanting the children to hear her.
I will come with you officers.
she answered with a trembling voice.
The twins came and saw Mary in tears, they asked Auntie what’s going on?
She didn’t know what to say, she stretched her arms and hugged them. From then on their lives had changed.
Few days later after the funeral the twins were visited by a social worker who had some news.
Hello darlings
she greeted.I have found your aunt and she’ll come to get you tomorrow.
They turned and looked at her with disbelief, But we already have an aunt, we have Aunt Mary
said Bryana.
