    Climate change had become too much of a problem to ignore anymore. While most cities had been able to save their shorelines in time, many had not, and had succumbed to the rising waters all around the globe. The hammer blow the natural world had taken had only just been barely mitigated, but it brought to light just how fragile the entire ecosystem was. Humanity raced to replace whole sections of the ecosystem through genetic engineering and had to adapt culinary tastes to compensate.

    Eliminating the damage that humanity was inflicting on the environment became of paramount importance, and world leaders quickly realized that they could take advantage of changing tastes to eliminate one of the biggest sources of greenhouse gases: bovine livestock. Over a short time, cows could be removed from cultivation, but something had to replace their dairy production in the culinary world. As a result a new source of dairy was uncovered by an unconventional means.

    It started with a few eccentrics well before the climate shifts really took their toll, but once the demand was there, there was nothing stopping a few fetishists from continuing with their plans. The first human dairy farm was opened, and its milk was in such high demand that milk that hadn’t even been produced yet was already earmarked for sale around the world. The waiting list grew longer and longer as the world’s reserves of animal milk drained away. Soon the few women that devoted their breasts to making the milk were better paid than their wildest dreams. The money became a draw for many more women in financial stress, and farm work became common once more even in developed countries.
