Auntie America - Shane Ervin
PLAYING A FOOL’S GAME
I look and see the world
And all that I see is the chaos of war
War that rules
Everyone thinks they are safe behind politics
But that’s where we’re all insane
Playing a fool’s hand
Everyone hides the world behind a moral society
A society that hides the chaos of war
I look at the world
And see justice being blinded
Everyone feels safe
But we’re all just casualties of war
Playing a fool’s game
We hide behind hellos and smiles
Hoping to get through the day
Without facing the chaos
Of all the people dying
Like our children and our neighbors
We turn a blind
